All week VIMEO has been trouble for me. IF a video finally uploaded (after upload progress repeatedly returned to "0%" and started over) then it would get stuck in the "processing" stage and would never be accessible. I've been trying repeated for 16 hours to get a video to upload and have done so from multiple sources and well as through multiple internet providers.

Ugh, how can they have no fail over? Some of us who PAY for the Pro service kinda expect it to be admin'd like a PRO service. Certainly makes us look bad to our clients.

Not even a simple, competent redirect to a splash page that says "It's not you, it's us" so everyone knows "Ah, at least they know and are working on it." Does anyone outside of vimeo offices/firewall know the entire site has crashed?

Vimeo is down here in VA. First time the site has been down for me in the years I use it, and what I am able to do with vimeo makes it worth the 70 bucks or so I pay for the plus version. I just hope it comes back ASAP, as I have clients waiting to approve some content, that is up on vimeo.

Vimeo is a great service even though its down at the moment - I even pay good money for it. This is the first time I've seen it down in a couple of years and I certainly won't be leaving anytime soon. Google was down last week - it happens - even 99.999% promised uptime is still not 100%.

Received many emails response from the company that they have reset my password and I should try clearing my cache, etc. Did all that - THEN I see all these postings! So, it looks like there have been previous issues FOR A WHILE. Would have been good to have known this as I have funeral clients waiting to see picture collage to be used at a funeral in a few days - but also the waste of valuable time!

I think the site is still "down". In that no updates are occurring. If you search the videos you will not see anything more recent then 2 days ago. Also, there are no posts in the forum more recent then 2 days ago. I think they are running on a backup and not a live system with updates. I think they are still having problems.

I have a Vimeo plus account as well. This does suck but you know shit happens.

We can leave Vimeo, but we would probably come back for the same reason we chose Vimeo in the first place. I hear alot of people always threaten to leave, but the truth is there's no where to go for the price and performance ratio that Vimeo offers. If there was we'd all be gone. And if you think they are the only serve vulnerable to outages, think again.

They used to have an absolutely fantastic service and will be a pain to move all the videos and links.
