Browser Related Problems

Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - (Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter). For details choose your operating system :

Over these last several weeks I have had intermittent problems logging into my GoDaddy Account, despite trying different browsers. ISP = Telstra Australia

1) Used iPad - both GoDaddy App AND web browser worked.
2) Used PURE VPN - my computer browser was then able to access Go Daddy account.

Notes: Go Daddy is the only secure login I have had trouble with, however some ordinary websites have failed to load at first, then automatically loaded a short while after without my intervention. It seems that the connection is failing in some way that the Go Daddy secure logon dislikes. It may not of course be the fault of GoDaddy.

I have two separate accounts with Godaddy. This email just happens to be on their bad server. Anytime I have an issue, I sign into my other account with no problems. I brought this to their attention well over a year ago because I was tired of hearing it is me. This problem has been going on for a long time. Usually it is on and off, but today it is the majority of the day. It is annoying and distressing to not be able to attend to work emails.

we have had problems for the last three days. i am now on hold for the chat with the dedicated server people. my systems people said that what they find is that the server is slow. we too attempted to launch a wordpress site so thank you for the heads up on that. godaddy says that they have no issues at this time and looked at this site and still say they don't see any issues reported.

I've not been able to update my installed Wordpress application as it just hangs. Attempts to uninstall to reinstall have the same results. My job is to get this thing updated and built 'yesterday'. I've installed and updated many apps in the past and never had this problem. What's going on? My superiors are demanding an answer as to why there is a delay. I don't know what to tell them other than google search to build a case against GoDaddy. GoDaddy didn't show any downtime but when I called there is a message stating they are aware of hosting issues-no ETR or other info. Hoping they are truly working/aware.

This is THE most frustrating thing I encounter in my work - GODADDY problems!!! It IS Virgin Media in the UK that is the problem, I just turned the wi-fi off my phone and let it find mind site using its 3G. not sure what we do other than wait! never had any problems with VM before finding GoDaddy or any other US servers

Our entire staff is plagued daily by not receiving or being able to send email through our GoDaddy accounts. I also cannot effectively connect with the Workspace app or download files from our online server with GoDaddy. Of course- no issues except one tech who said to delete our oldest email accounts and re-establish them so that they would be on a newer portion of the servers... nice.

This is indefensible. So many of us rely on our email for not only personal communication but our professional lives as well. They don't even post on their web site that there's a problem. It's only when you finally call them that you get a terse recorded message saying that their email isn't working. No suggestion as to when it will be fixed. well i spoke with my biz partner and he spoke to someone at Go Daddy, they are acting like it's only our problem and they said they can see the emails and they should be loading onto the server in a couple of hours --- that was about 8 hours ago.... STILL NOTHING.. now a day or a few hours once in a blue moon is ok, But this is going on day two, and i count on go daddy for my business which is mostly conducted through emails. How can i manage the stress this is causing... Can i hold them liable for the rise in my blood pressure and the impending breakdown..!!!

Edit: Is anyone having the same problem --- emails don't open and can't send or receive new ones since tuesday night/apr 15 10:30pm (ish) it might be time to give up on them and seek a new solution... They have been so unreliable lately and i can't stand their ads either

I was just told it is a server named Pod 6 that is the problem. This server is one of their main email servers and it has been down since Monday night 4/14. There is no ETA or any further information available from tech support. There is no work around and if your on Pod 6 you just have to wait or forward your MX records to another email server.

My Username and Hostname is not recognized within Filezilla. Basically I can't log onto the server. I'm using same hostname, username and pw as always. I had to change my Filezilla password. Yes, Godaddy is down. I was on the phone around 3:30 pm today (April 8) with the rep I always speak with. He checked my sites, said the FTP uploads were not working and they would have the problem fixed as soon as possible. It's gotten worse since then, as now the sites themselves do not work. Three different accounts - Keep getting a message that the password is wrong and it's not as I've stopped typing from scratch and literally copy/paste to make sure I'm not fat fingering. The few times I do get the password accepted, then it hangs "loading" at the inbox. Just lost a client - Godaddy took the money for the domain name (so now I can't buy from a decent registrar), but won't let me use it, they need to confirm my email address (only been with them for about 6 years!!) click on the link they sent, they say "OK, now you can use your domains", but I can't. But I can get help in 23 hours. Had it been 22 hours less, I would have been able to keep the client. Anyone recommend a good registrar?

Godaddy is creating these email problems on purpose to convince their users to switch to the new more expensive Officer 365 mail.

If you use an email client like Outlook or Mac Mail or any other one, your email will work fine. It is just the webmail that is having trouble.

GoDaddy is a nightmare at present. Have nearly always used them to register my domains but I am going to be changing soon as you can never login to their site to change anything. our business email has be slow and even down for hours at a time the last week or better. when we converted from yahoo business to go daddy business was told the email was far superior and faster and does not experience much down or slow time. I have called several times now and they say everything looks fine the network is busy, if I want it to be faster I need to buy office 365. Really I just spend an arm and a leg on business package and transferring all or business domains and so forth over and this is the kind of service I get.

I wasn't able to access my godaddy email yesterday or today. A couple of times I managed to get to my inbox but then was unable to download a message or reply to one. I sent them an email and got a reply that it was "resolved."

Change your godaddy nameservers. I have multiple domains with them, and I changed the nameservers and this seems to fix the issue. Their NS01 and NS02 servers are not working correctly.

Lots of luck trying to talk to those people! I'm getting bounced notices and when I complain they say send them the email. Someone just called and told me it was returned undeliverable. I can't send emails and I'm not receiving either. Enough!! I'm giving a try now, so far, so good. It's just such a hassle moving things. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!! DANGER WILL ROBINSON!!! DANGER!!!

We have been having trouble this morning since about 9:00am PST. Most emails won't open, and if you get lucky enough to get one open, don't hold your breath waiting for your response to send.

I've been having problems with all email accounts I have with GoDaddy. I also tried the webmail portal and it's down too. I've opened a case with GoDaddy but have heard nothing yet. So much for a resilient infrastructure, not a great way to run a business.

Twice today while I have been on my computer, my screen has suddently shifted to the godaddy webmail page and then I can't use my mouse to do anything else. I have had to totally shut down my computer and bring it back up.

This is a constant problem with GoDaddy as soon as my year is up, they have lost a customer forever. Their Customer Service is useless! I have given up contacting them as it simply waste my time. We pay for a service that is down more than it is up and get no compensation, funny how it doesn't work the other way.

The last few days my getting into my email has been slow. Today I was having trouble sending emails and opening them as well. Now when I try to log in it kicks me out after I enter password and gives me an error that the site is not responding. I use this email address for my business and am currently but off from all the clients I am working with-some who need a response today. Any help or advice would be great.

GoDaddy email has been down all day today, Wednesday the 12th, and was down most of yesterday, the 11th. Hard to believe their support site states "No Significant Issues"!! Very Frustrating!!!

I to have had problems all day and yesterday. its very frustrating since I use email for my bussines, it can take me 10 minutes to email something and it get stuck on 'email loading. yahoo seem to work just fine

It looks like a biggest mistake we made, buying godaddy hosting and email services. Pathetic services and very poor tech support. Hardly there should be a day or two, that we dont curse this company and our mistake. I didnt read this column before, but now have in my fav, so will input on regular basis. Yesterday we had same problem and since today morning same problem, we are not able to access emails, none of our official ids are working. You call them, and they would blame on you saying call you ISP, everything works great from godaddy's end we have tested from each and every angle. I told her i have tried all options, lastly cleared my history, and its not only from this end, official ids are being accessed from several diff location in US and out side US, every one is complaining about the same, still they want to blame on us. I have my website hosting and email services through godaddy, please advice on switching to some other companies if you know.

I have multiple email accounts with my hosting. All but 1 is receiving email appropriately. However, 1 is not receiving and hasn't gotten anything in a week. The Tech put me on hold and "synched" the email account and I get 3 emails. I know there should be more than that because I sent several from another account to it to test it. This is horrible.

I have been having issues with sending emails since Monday. Godaddy support says it is not them that it is my internet provider. Spoke to internet provider and Norton and both say it is not them. Is anyone else having issues with sending emails? Error says 552 Nfpq1n00E3eoMZu01 :: auth :: Message rejected for spam or virus content. Also, when I test my email it says unable to connect to server

i was with tech support on the line, then they put me on hold, 16 minute call and they drop the call. Then i go to my account page and the site wont load. WTF

Email servers are down today - regardless of the green check mark on godaddy website saying everything is a-ok. I have not been able to log into my email since this morning. My business wont survive without it. Thank god for hotmail. Never had problems for the last 20 years.

Phones down...sites down... not really worth staying at GoDaddy anymore. This happen 10 years ago with Hostway and I moved 142 domains and 14 hosting accounts to GoDaddy, looks like it is time to move again. Heck you cannot even send them an email it gets bounced.
