Can't Access GetResponse - Troubleshooting Instructions

If the site is UP but you cant access the page, try one of the below solutions:

Browser Related Problems

Force a full refresh for the site. This can be achieved by pressing CTRL + F5 keys at the same time on your favourite browser (Firefox, Chrome, Explorer, etc.)

Clear the temporary cache and cookies on your browser to make sure that you have the most recent version of the web page. For instructions choose your browser :

Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - (Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter). For details choose your operating system :

If you can access a website at office or from a 3G network yet it's not working on your computer, it is a good idea to use an alternative DNS service other than your ISPs. OpenDNS or Google Public DNS are both excellent and free public DNS services.

Check our help page for step-by-step instructions on how to change your DNS.

GetResponse needs to get their act together. It KEEPS GOING DOWN! And it's on their end, not ours.

Maybe my payment will be "down" as well if this keeps up! We should get a pro-rated discounted for the time down seeing how we can't use the service.

I use Benchmark Email Marketing Sofware since they are very reliable. It hasn't been down before since I started using it in the last 6 months now.

I also have a Getresponse account for 2 weeks now and it has been down for 2 times, and I didn't get any inform from them while driving traffic to the optin page. So I wasted a lot of paid traffic. This is not fair for Getresponse customers.

If you are thinking of changing to a new email service, I recommend you to try Benchmark. Get a 30 days trial today and see if you like it to continue. Check it here:

Is there a more reliable service than Get Response? They got such wonderful reviews before... I loved the customer service woman i talked with last week in my trial..Now im ready to sign up and they are down …? Seems every system has problems…who is the most reliable? I have Mailchimp but have not activated it yet…and given AWeber has problems too… whos left?

Ye, I agree that Getresponse behaviour is completely wrong - they never apologise, they are always right (even in small issues, I had private discussions with them) and never talk about compensation to our loses that now occurs regularly.

Nick Turner · 3 May 2014 - 23:36
Australia · Adam Internet Pty

looking at the above seems like this is regular occurrence: Feb 28th- March 1st, March 16th, 26-27th April and now 3-4th May.

Down again, and this time Get response isn't letting people know what's going on. This time getresponse will lose a bunch of customers if they don't do something. They made me lose a bunch of money from a launch I was going through. Horrible service this time

It is a pity that there are no comments from management about what is happening ...
Is this business will have to change to another.

Bryan Clark · 3 May 2014 - 22:52
United States · CenturyLink

I give them a 2, not because they are down. Because they are down, and not telling customers anything, nor offering compensation for lost time and earnings. I've seen many other Email Marketing providers hit just a couple months ago, including MailChimp and AWeber, so I understand sometimes things happen, but not supporting your customers - the ones who are fueling your own paychecks - is just bad business. :(

More money down the poop shoot! Lost a 1000 click solo a few days ago... now another 500 solo tonight. Thank you very very much GetResponse or should I say Can't GetaResponse.

I loved your features, but only when they work!! Get-No-Response lately.. sadly. Switching back to AWeber. If anyone wants to use my affiliate link go for it, and thank you. It's $1 to sign up for the first month, and I've used them in the past. They seem way more reliable.

What the heck is going on in this industry? First Aweber down for 2 days, and not a peep from them about it even after the fact, and then now Getresponse is also down. In fact, both are down as I write this. While I can appreciate they might be hacked, it's still very frustrating.

Marijke van Giffen · 1 March 2014 - 11:38

Getresponse is down indeed and has been for the past hour at least.
