We have tried pinging The Freecycle Network website using our server and the website returned the above results. If is down for us too there is nothing you can do except waiting. Probably the server is overloaded, down or unreachable because of a network problem, outage or a website maintenance is in progress...

Fix DNS Problems

also been having login problems today... I can browse, but not log in - there I get a connection refused. The tip for using the url worked though. I am using Win8 and Chrome as my browser.

I was having same problem and found out the regular link no longer works.

Try using this URL instead and you should have no problem logging in.

The main page is up, but everything else gets an Unable to Connect. This has been true all day today. The main page doesn't do squat. It is totally nonfunctional.
