It is still down. I tried to book my itinerary to Europe yesterday, and I was able to see flights to destination, but the site produced "Unable ..." message insted of showing return flights. Moreover, when I spoke to the agent, she was unable to find flights I saw and couldn't price my itinerary. The system showed her unrealistic prices, like $3000 for economy ticket one way. For comparision, similar itinerary was purchased 2 days ago from AA by my coleague for $900 round trip.

folks, they are down because the government called UAL on their pricing schemes (2 one-ways way cheaper than roundtrip to compete with discount carriers). they apparently decided to lose megabucks not allowing ANY purchases unless you get scammed over the phone where they can hide cheaper tickets.

I am Gold status and it has been a nightmare trying to book tickets on United for some time and seems to be getting worse not better (I have tried 8 times at different points today all with "We are unable to process your request"). Guys, hire some good software engineers...it should not be this hard to fix with the right talent! You will start losing customer and revenue as we are fed up

There is a sign on the site that they are aware of technical disruptions where us$ cannot be processed on the site and at their airports. I'm unable to log in and needed assistance from tech staff there to help book my trip. They were very gracious. I feel bad for them.

Cannot book an itinerary US-ICN-NRT- US. Impossible. Have consistently received the error message mentioned above, not just today but over the last 2 weeks. United Reservations blames the browser or notebook- MacBook... but iPhone app doesn't work either. United Support is clueless. I wonder how much money in lost sales this is costing UA.

Tried to check for a lfight tomorrow (after receiving the United flight check in email) using both via the mobile app and the United website - and get through about 3/4 until it tells me that the system is having problems and to contact the airport - this have never happend before - so, I wonder what is up today at United.com?

New United.com page is not working--sometimes the homepage will come up but then I receive the error message when trying to book a flight. Then several times the homepage just looked completely garbled. Tried to call the 1-800 premier phone line and that is really backed up too. Then tried the app, also got an error. A bad day for United.

You can get in using old links to pages other than their home page, but any attempt to get to a reservation page gets you to the "overwhelming demand" page. You can access your account at https://www.united.com/web/en-US/apps/account/account.aspx. I was able to look up my balance and view existing reservations with no issues.
You can also access the new checkin page at https://www.united.com/travel/checkin/start.aspx?LangCode=en-US. Since I don't have a trip coming up within 24 hours to check in to, I can't check if that also fails at a subsequent page.

New website just doesn't work. For some reason I can still get on the old website through SAFARI and that site continues to work well. I have tried multiple time to make reservations from and too different locations on different dates and also on well known travel routes and the system has always come up saying there are no flights available for my time-frame. I have changed the destinations and dates at least 30 times to test the site and the results are the same.

Received an email from United that my flight (2 days from now) is canceled. When I call them, message says "system is down" and use the website to change flight. When I go the website, it doesn't let me change and says that I should call United... What a smart way to DESERVE customers!
