Can't Access The Blaze - Troubleshooting Instructions

If the site is UP but you cant access the page, try one of the below solutions:

Browser Related Problems

Force a full refresh for the site. This can be achieved by pressing CTRL + F5 keys at the same time on your favourite browser (Firefox, Chrome, Explorer, etc.)

Clear the temporary cache and cookies on your browser to make sure that you have the most recent version of the web page. For instructions choose your browser :

Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - (Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter). For details choose your operating system :

If you can access a website at office or from a 3G network yet it's not working on your computer, it is a good idea to use an alternative DNS service other than your ISPs. OpenDNS or Google Public DNS are both excellent and free public DNS services.

Check our help page for step-by-step instructions on how to change your DNS.

I've been listening to The Blaze for several months. In the middle of the show yesterday is just stopped working. It shows the status as processing but it never plays. :( Any suggestions?

I simply CANNOT use Internet Explorer to view anything on the for any length of time without freezing. Google Chrome works just fine. I have given up and changed my default browser to Chrome-no more trouble.

I have been unable to open TheBlaze on my explore nor been able to watch it using my ROKU. (Brighthouse Cable) I was able to connect using my ATT tethered to my iPhone. So the problem I thought was with Brighthouse. It was not it was with EarthLink. From a dos command line type: nslookup to see if your DNS server will return the IP address. If not then then you know that is the problem. Right now my earthlink DNS server does not recognize TheBlaze. :-(

United States · Windstream Communications is full of bugs, when you post to the comments it skips and freezes as you type the words out. and now it will not load up at all using IE9, me thinks our CIC has hired a hacker task force to reap havoc on the Conservative web sight...

I get the message that it's being monitored for content from Bing and am having a hard time getting anything other than on FB.

The Blaze website is nothing but a blank page. Tried from my ATT Iphone, Firefox, and IE. Same thing just a blank white page.

I am not able to get any of the programing on my ipad. have requested several times for a temp password, only received a temp password 3 times, after putting the temp password in it tells me I have a invalid e-mail/password. I know the e-mail is correct.

I cannot get the radio show on my I phone either

When I start on the Blaze, an ad for the Marines comes up and echos madly. I can't shut it off unless I close the browser.

When I have problems with The Blaze TV, I try switching browsers, going into tools and clearing everything, restarting the computer or cleaning everything with CCleaner(free download from FileHippo). Most of the time one of these things works, it is not down as much as it used to be. It is the most frustrating site I use, however. The problem I still have not found a fix to is the rewind or fast forward. Almost every time I try that the player freezes.

The Blaze if down on the Ruko for about a week now. It goes as far as to starting the show and will not work. Is this down too?

same as earlier post, I have been getting a notice that the Blaze is not responding. Tried rebooting, no good, same problem. This has been ongoing for a week or so.

I live in Mexico and use Hughes Internet satellite service and have been unable to get any of the secondary links to connect. I get the page up but can not scroll down or read the entire page. Only because it is Glenn Beck would I suspect that someone is fooling with the connections like maybe a Democrat?

Wade Covington · 2 September 2012 - 15:52

I keep getting a notice that the blaze is not responding? The page will come up but I cannot view it due to the notification... wth? Every other page loads fine.

Diana Lesgart · 2 September 2012 - 14:56

My teenage sons resolved the matter! Turns out I got rid of the "Bing" search toolbar and installed the Google search bar and it appears that does not mesh well with Internet Explorer, that gives you Bing to use. So, I installed Google Chrome and problem solved. The Blaze loads in seconds, with all pictures and ads, and everything else works great. So, it was the search engine after all. I hope these comments help others.

I have a brand new Dell XPS withe the Intel Core i7, Windows 7 and the latest Internet Explorer. I was looking forward to smooth sailing with my favorite web pages, to surf at my leasure all political sites, comment, etc. But The Blaze keeps freezing my new netbook! It has to be "recovered" but then will not load. I have rebooted, used the wireless troubleshooter, gone on other sites and everything works fine except for The Blaze!!! What is going on? This has been for two days now, 9/1 and 9/2. Since I cannot even load the regular The BLaze webpage, forget about using the old GBTV or Blaze TV! Glenn is going to lose lots of followers if they don't fix this connection problem. Is it sabotage of some sort? Very weird and disturbing. The Blaze is a MUST READ if you are interested in some truth regarding the political environment we are in.
