These jokers should change their name to 'the gang that can't shoot straight'. Since opening an account 2 years ago I have experienced a string of problems, from lost account information, to service outages, to failure on 3 occasions to send my monthly RRIF payment. I'm outa here!!

Called them by phone... was put on hold... after about 20 minutes I actually got a 'heartbeat' (real person). She said their system is experiencing son 'issues' and that I should try again in a couple of hours.

I attempted to use my card as credit- denied, as debit denied--- go to the ATM and it works. Walked into a TD Bank to find out why and they told us their entire system is down. They can not even check to see if everything is alright with my card because their systems are down. Everything is intermittent. Once moment I can get on the APP the next I can navigate any where.

i tried to pay for something at JC Penney's with my card and it was declined. I then tried to use the mobile site to find out what's going on. Couldn't get on. Then I called the customer service and had to wait 10 minutes before someone answered. They told me they were down for maintenance. Now that is a lot of crap. Who would be down for maintenance in the middle of a Tuesday afternoon. What is going on???

I was (and am) having the same problem with TD Bank's online banking service. Just for the heck of it, I tried MS Internet Explorer (instead of Firefox and Chrome, which are my normal browsers) and the site worked. No flashing on the login screen. So the problem appears to be with TD's website and those two browsers. Something they still need to fix, but try IE and see if that works for you, too.

Hmmmm...this is strange. My ex can't access his account. We were wondering what was going on because he was trying to accept an email money transfer from me and it gave us some strange error. So he skype called me and shared screens and still couldn't get in. BUT... when I logged into his bank account from where I am, I can get in no problem. I wonder why?

This is most certainly a DOS attack or a hack. TD wouldn't be down this long. TD is considered the largest bank in Canada (some would argue RBC), so it does make them a target.

Oligopoly Canadian banks - lethargic and arrogant - this should wake them up.

Isitdownrightnow says it's "Up" at the top of the page, which is true of the main page, but when you go to login is when it's down - OK - UPDATE - they now have a nice screen that tells you what's going on when you try to login.

Hey admin of isitdownrightnow, can you add to the URL's you check for TD bank? Cause telling me that the main banner page is up isn't super useful, as it doesn't do much.

I have been having problems signing on at TD Bank by not being able to click to open the log in page. On Oct. 21, 2012 I received a message "File not found" and then today, Oct. 22 the message stated the website could not locate the page. I just received the following reply from TD Bank which you might be interested in.

"Thank you for contacting TD Bank "America's Most Convenient Bank."

Please accept our apologies for your inconvenience. A temporary technology problem has delayed the availability of our systems. Technicians are working as quickly as possible to restore access. We realize that we have not provided the level of service that you expect and are taking steps to make sure the level of downtime we have experienced recently does not reoccur."
