Can't Access - Troubleshooting Instructions

If the site is UP but you cant access the page, try one of the below solutions:

Browser Related Problems

Force a full refresh for the site. This can be achieved by pressing CTRL + F5 keys at the same time on your favourite browser (Firefox, Chrome, Explorer, etc.)

Clear the temporary cache and cookies on your browser to make sure that you have the most recent version of the web page. For instructions choose your browser :

Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - (Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter). For details choose your operating system :

If you can access a website at office or from a 3G network yet it's not working on your computer, it is a good idea to use an alternative DNS service other than your ISPs. OpenDNS or Google Public DNS are both excellent and free public DNS services.

Check our help page for step-by-step instructions on how to change your DNS.

Comcast seems to be the problem with connecting to I went to several friends of mine who have AT&T and other ISPs and servers and connected quickly and easily to!!
HERE IS THE WORKAROUND: Google "Ultrasurf_download.exe" Download and install this FREE, OPEN-SOURCE GNU Licensed Proxy program on your Windows system, then open the program, follow the directions in the read-me file, and BOOM you WILL be able to get to MAIL.COM. Good Luck to ALL! This has been a major pain in the rear!!

Comcast is the problem! your quick solution to get to your MAIL.COM email until Comcast admits it and does the right thing!!!

Good Luck to all with this issue..... Howie
PS: “Ultrasurf” does NOT install on Apple/Mac computers. But there are other Proxy Server Applications for Mac. Just look around on the net....

Have had problems with accessing my email account on various occasions recently; particularly since the user interface changed. Once updated their interface I've had problem after problem. 1) It doesn't work in Chrome or Firefox. I tried updating Chrome to the newest version, updated Java, etc. Still wont' work. And I've tried on 3 different computers. If you're having this problem, you will have to access your email through your phone / tablet using IMAP. Or, you will have to use or download the newest version of Internet Explorer. I've had a wealth of other problems, also, but this is by far the most troubling.

Their SMTP (outgoing mail) server has been down again for over a day, all mail bounces, seems to happen every 3 or 4 months. I've been a paying customer for many years but clearly time t move on.

Thailand · 3BB Broadband down for 12 hours now at 3.30am GMT. There seems to be a growing problem at ignored by Support. let all users write to the parent company 1&1 to complain. Never a problem with gmail and ymaiil - just the one I pay for Time to dump it I think.
