Probably the server is overloaded, down or unreachable because of a network problem, outage or a website maintenance is in progress...

Browser Related Problems

Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

I have had my Garmin VIVO for about 7 months now. Have had many instances where the connect site is down for maintenance and the badn has quit working twice. I was able to reset the band but lost multiple days steps. Would not recommend a Garmin and will not buy another after this one dies for good.

For the last 2 days I am told there is a problem with the site's secutiry certificate and even though I click to go there anyway, the Garmin Conect site wont connect. Is this a problem with my computer or their servers?

started getting synch error messages last night (4/13), same problem this morning. deleted app from phone and reinstalled, now can't even log in ... error message says "network connection error" but rest of apps on iPhone are connecting fine and the watch is getting messages from the phone (except for Garmin Connect ones).

Is the garmin connect site still down? I can log in but nothing shows up but a blank blue screen. It has been this way since I purchased my garmin 2 weeks ago. So disappointed. Had a fitbit before and never experienced any issues.

I have attempted to login to Garmin Express on my laptop each day since 2/4/2016 to sync my Forerunner 405. Each time the same error appears. "There was a problem connecting to the Garmin servers -- We're unable to sign you in because our servers are unavailable at this time." This problem has been going on for 5 days now. Why hasn't Garmin fixed this issue? Have they fired all the technical people because they are going broke?
It is unacceptable that this issue has not been resolve yet.

Well, glad to see it's not just me.
Was able to get a Manual/USB sync earlier today, but now nothing even after reinstalling the Garmin Android app and resetting/pairing BluTooth.

I suspect a *glitch* in the device update from 2 days ago to v3.10 - Seems to me this was presented to me twice and sucessfully installed both times.

I'm sure it's been a really interesting day at Garmin Connect Support... Good Luck Garmin Connect Support Guys!

Having the same issues in Tennessee. I just bought my vivosmart HR on Friday and it's already having sycning issues not even two full days later. Hope this doesn't happen often. It hasn't synced since I've woken up this AM- that was at 6:45 am and its now 1:10 pm. The app keeps saying "Down for maintenance, try again shortly"
