I just tried booking a flight twice and my bank account has been charged but I still don't have a confirmed flight. I phoned after the first incident and was advised to book again and apply for a refund. Now the phone lines are insane so can't even speak to anyone.

I've been trying since 4pm yesterday to check in online (via app and www) and it just keeps saying "Sorry, we are unable to offer you Online Check-in for this flight at present." I phoned BA last night and the chap (who didn't seem to know anything about it so I'm sure he was bluffing!) said it should be working in the next hour or so. But it's not!!! This is a rubbish service.

Trying to book seats via BA app. Tried 2 iphones & 2 ipads simply not possible. Same thing happened 2 months ago on our return journey, no computer so had to phone BA & pay for seats. Appalling customer service. Acted as though we wanted complimentary seats, but all we wanted was to be able to sit next to each other.

There's definitely a problem with some routes to BA's manage bookings with some ISP because people using ISPs relying on BT Infinity have problems but people using Virgin or logging on via 3G/4G don't. A good workaround is to use the secure Tor web browser (from https://www.torproject.org/download/download-easy.html.en) which routes access to web sites anonymously through various proxy layers. The fact that it work with BA when normal browsers don't shows that there’s something that’s blocking access from some routes for currently unknown reasons.

I just spoke to the executive club and they have said the online check in is DOWN probably for the next 4 or 5 days, and to check in at the airport, or to try on internet explorer as some people are apparently successful on that- I wasnt!

Despite receiving and email advising check in in now open, I cannot check in to my flight to Dublin. Web site message: " Sorry, we are unable to offer you Online Check-in for this flight on this occasion.To check in and receive your boarding pass, please contact the operating carrier at the airport." Either the page is not available, or the address (URL) you have entered is incorrect.

cant access and manage a booking that Ive made yesterday, the same answer when Im trying to access from the app and from another account!!!!

UPDATE: I just got off the phone with customer service and they say it is an internal issue with the BA website. hopefully after 2 hours I will be able to log in.

BA site down for three hours now: the page to which BA website directs "does not exist". They themselves redirect incoming calls to a page that does not exist. One hopes their flights are more reliable than their web service.

Seriously, what use does one have of an airline who is unable to manage its web pages?

the site is screwed up - not connecting when logging in, breaks down when enquiring for avios flights, asks for confirmation of contact information at each logon - and does not accept command, making site access impossible - and call enter has more than an hour wait!! also phone numbers are incorrect - logged in as silver member phone number responds as "Executive Blue Line".... has been going on for days now
