We have tried pinging Earthlink Web Mail website using our server and the website returned the above results. If webmail.earthlink.net is down for us too there is nothing you can do except waiting. Probably the server is overloaded, down or unreachable because of a network problem, outage or a website maintenance is in progress...

Can't Access Earthlink Web Mail - Troubleshooting Instructions

If the site is UP but you cant access the page, try one of the below solutions:

Browser Related Problems

Force a full refresh for the site. This can be achieved by pressing CTRL + F5 keys at the same time on your favourite browser (Firefox, Chrome, Explorer, etc.)

Try alternative urls such as springmail.com

Clear the temporary cache and cookies on your browser to make sure that you have the most recent version of the web page. For instructions choose your browser :

Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - (Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter). For details choose your operating system :

If you can access a website at office or from a 3G network yet it's not working on your computer, it is a good idea to use an alternative DNS service other than your ISPs. OpenDNS or Google Public DNS are both excellent and free public DNS services.

Check our help page for step-by-step instructions on how to change your DNS.

It's not just webmail. ALl of the links on the Earthlink.Net homepage report either invalid domain or bad proxy or ... Server has to be down or otherwise unavailable. If you call to report problem they tell you that they are experiencing high call volume and won't even take a message; they tell you to go on line to FAQ or "chat", which of course is not working...thus why I called. WIsh they would just change their automated phone system to actually tell you they are aware of the problem and working on it and ....

When I try to log in to my Earthlink webmail account tonight, I get "Due to inactivity, your session has expired. Please sign in again." But then it won't allow me to sign in again. This is the first time I've had this problem. Evidently many people are trying to use Chat to report the problem because I received a message that there would be a 29 minute wait to begin a Chat, so I declined to wait. I hope EarthLink fixes the problem quickly!

Worst service ever. Mail can be down and it doesn't even show up on the Outage reports for hours! Used to have DSL with them, dropped for same reasons. The thing is... nothing will get done. Reminds me of the Lily Tomlin shtick about the phone company... they suck.

Dale Eastman · 6 April 2014 - 12:29

I'm being told email can't connect with server because of "too many redirects." Tried connecting again and it was interesting to see the crazy printouts mount up in the URL line at top. I then restarted my computer, trying to clear all that out, and got same message.

I can get to my Earthlink Webmail, but my wife keeps getting the "session expired" message (since 2am this morning). She's been seeing very slow response times with her account for weeks but Earthlink support says "nothing's down". I don't think their technical staff are really on top of this.

Yes, it is. I believe EarthLink has to be one of the worst webmail providers ever! They were fine when still in Georgia (where they still pretend to be); however, once they moved to India, the service has gotten beyond horiible; it seems like most of the tech people never know what they are doing when they try to help with computer issues related to getting onto their site.

I have been having a lot of issues with my Earthlink webmail. Lost all messages in my inbox starting Oct. 29th until now, Dec. 24th. Seems like someone hacked into my account with Earthlink and obtained my address book - I've been getting calls from friends all over saying that they received an email from our Earthlink address saying that we were in desperate need of $1, 000. I've been trying to call Earthlink using all the phone numbers they have listed, and all lines respond with a busy signal. Any clues anyone?

Not now at all. It had been sporadic for 6 weeks, unable to use a PC now for the last 3 days. Can read mail on my droid and ipad, mail reader, but not on the browsers on either device. webmail.earthlink.net has only been operating for me sporadically for the last 2 months, it is more and more frequent. It is not at all for the last 5 days on any desk top. It doesn't matter whose computer I try it on. This problem needs to corrected now. Oddly, I can open other earthlink email accounts I have with no problem, and can open email via my android and Ipad. I have tried and earthlink has remoted in to do the web browser cleaning, dosen't help. Tech services says they are working on it. Still not working 8:48AM eastern time

Complain to Earthlink's head-honchos! ... WEB MAIL is obviously unreliable and they do NOT give a hoot. I have been with them over 18 years and I am about to dump their services. A dozen calls ... still 6am / noon / 6pm / 11pm WEB MAIL stops loading more often than not! I know I have spent over 24 hours combined on calls / callbacks from E-Link and all the way up to Level 3 Support ... NO RESOLUTION! I works when they call or it doesn't work when they call and it still doesn't get fixed! HARDWARE / FIRMWARE / SOFTWARE issue? I don't care - just get someone in ATLANTA to FIX IT!

Earthlink WEB MAIL is definitely DOWN... PING = lost 4 of 4... TRACERT over 30 HOPDS so slow I cooked an egg... literally. Error messages repeatedly say, "NO DATA RETURNED" ... this is a recurring issue, not a once in a blue moon problem with my pals at Earthlink. I've hung for over 20 years to keep same e-mail address... NOW... I am ready to jump ship. This is ridiculous; all the apologies in the world don't make up for lost time - not in this day and age. Sadly - e-mail is an important tool we have come to depend on far too much. Losing it can be costly and I do not like coughing up dough in penalties because Earthlink is running old equipment until in implodes.
