error code 042 after security number screen most of the time but once I managed to complete the login sequence but then could not load my accounts due to 'unplanned maintenance' (somebody tripped over the plug cord)

Failed to login with my usual password of 18 months use, changed password using one time code system (twice in period of a few mins). Both times could not log back in (password failed again). Waited 10 mins on technical help line and gave up. email = steve@dataviews.me.uk. Have had a/c 10 years.

I am able to access my account but my password is not recognised so it's necessary to reset it EVERY time I log in - not good!!!
I'm guessing this is a known issue as I've been waiting on the phone for 20 mins to Tesco Bank

I'm having problems too logging in. The website appears to be up and running but i think they still are having problems. Keeps telling me my password is incorrect and not recognising my computer! Will be calling the Tech Help desk at 8am to find out what the problem is.

Been virtually impossible to log into Tesco accounts for the past 48 hours. Telephoned Tesco twice who admit they have a problem but have no timing for resolution. Guess they have been overwhelmed by the introduction of their current accounts. Very poor show!

Edit: Strange you are saying site is up and useable. Tesco have told me there is a confirmed error their end and they are working on the fix. No timescales.

I managed to get in, set up a standing order but then timed out while I was arranging a transfer in - and haven't been able to get back in since. Also, my computer is not recognised EVERY TIME I LOG IN! What's the going compensation rate for being unable to use one's account nowadays?

I have been unable to login to Tesco bank mortgage for over 4 days using a laptop, iphone and ipad. The system just does not allow access. This may be down to some security setting on my devices but this does not seem easy to get around. I cannot access the login page, the system just hangs.

Have been trying to move money out of my account today. Site will not bring up my linked account and attempts to enter new details stops when trying to enter sort code.

There are two fields for the sort code but the first field will only accept two digits. I give up.

"planned maintenance" but it is now 09.45 and the Tesco Credit Card site is still being upgraded... upgrades are normally completed by 6am at the latest!
