I tried everything positive to make sure i take good care of my kids but all failed, and i was in debts which makes everything worse. Receiving error code 1005 via PC and Smart phone app when attempting to log in to my checking account.

Update on Regions Bank... Error message upon logging in is, "ATTENTION-We are unable to process your request at this time. [1005]" via iPhone Regions app and website.

Edit (+10 mins) : Website is now working fine. However, iPhone Regions App continues to fail with the following timeout message: "ATTENTION-We are unable to process your request at this time. [1005]"

We have had problems with both of our accounts at Regions all centering around the Online banking and their Phone app. I have reported the problem several times to them that the phone app and online are not reflecting true information. In a space of 15 minutes one night I got 3 different totals for one of the accounts. They have serious problems with these services. Because of the inaccurate information or totals we had an issue come up. They want to charge fee's for their mistakes and then not refund them when its proven to them that there was an issue with their side of things. I was told that the online and phone app go down EVERY night for maintenance....FUNNY I have never had any other bank go down EVERY night. Nor do our other banks show incorrect information or balance amounts everyday...or change several times in a space of minutes. We have never bounced anything or had NSF problems till we have had this bank account and this online banking and phone app issue. Their response....Us customers should feel privileged that they offer these services FREE. So we shouldn't complain too much. It was also inferred that its my fault for not keeping a hard/written copy. I am so sorry I thought your online and phone app services were correct seeing as you do maintenance EVERY night. I depended on my other banks and never had an issue.

I called my branch and spoke to a teller. She said what they have been told is that Regions is doing an update on their "bank enhancement systems." What that entails they do not know. Nor could she give me an ETA on when the system will be back up. Now we know something more than we did before. Doesn't help getting into our accounts, though. Hopefully, they will be back up sometime today. I hope!

ADDENDUM: They give you an 800# to call for problems of this kind. Both the regular "Visa" 800# (800-295-4472) is constantly busy along with the "problem contact #" (800-472-2265). Even though this website is listing the website is "Up", it is apparently not up for their account holders! ...AT LAST! I finally got through to Regions 800-472-2265. The automated system stated, "They are experiencing problems on their on-line system". Gives you a choice to select inquiring on the phone, but takes you back around in a loop to restate system problems. Using the usual 800# gets you into the phone system, but only gives you info. on what your balance was BEFORE the problems started. REGIONS, GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER AND TELL US WHAT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING! WE ALL DEPEND ON OUR ACCOUNTS FOR UP TO DATE INFO.!!!!

It is like trying to talk to a real person at a federal government office - can't be done. Tried repeatedly since very early this morning to access website to see bank account. No go. Connection error message on cell phone and internet. Several minutes ago, I saw that the site was down according to "". Now it says it's up, but not for "Me". Obviously, it's not just ME! This is ridiculous! Regions has a responsibility to its' account holders to list a problem on the internet, or if they're working on the website, in a message on the internet search engines, at the very least. What's going on, Regions?!

I paid for my lunch with my regions card and the delivery person said the card had not gone through. This is awful.

Don't freak out like I did and think that some way or another something hit my bank and got all the money in it. I have a high unpaid hospital bill that I pay $20 a month on and I keep getting notices that I need to pay more and I thought for sure they had did something legally to my count to get what money I had in there but no it's just that Regions is down again and no ones bank cards are working. Thank God I wasn't having lunch out with friends and ended up after the meal to not be able to pay....come on regions you make enough money to prevent this from happening so often, I get every once in awhile but this is just to often for such a big institution that they need better servers or something!

As of 7:18 pm cdt the website is still down and they won't admit the real problem. Their customer service people, when you finally get them say it is system maintenance and said it would be back up by the close of business today (7 pm). Well it's not. Regions is down because they FORGOT to renew their domaine. If you google "who is" and then enter you will see that the domaine expired on Sat 4/13/13. They renewed it on Monday 4/15/13 for 10 years after they started having problems.

Now everybody is out of luck until the domaine can come back up and registar. This can take a long time. Until then my bills go unpaid because they are all in their system and I have no paper bills because these days everything is paperless.

I guess it is a good idea to keep those paper statements coming in the mail. Heads need to roll for something this dumb to have happened.

Have been trying all day. No luck. No one at Regions will give a straight answer. They just keep saying their updating. Really... you suck regions. You can't even get onto the itreasury site to send a wire. I just cannot run my business with a bank like this. Pretty darn scary.

Keeps taking me to DNS nameservers are down. It is being redirected/resolving to the domain Registrar NetworkSolutions. Plus I just read about a cyber attck

it was working for me earlier today around 12:30 pm est then was down shortly after. it is now 7:53 pm est and still down.
