We have tried pinging REDcard website using our server and the website returned the above results. If rcam.target.com is down for us too there is nothing you can do except waiting. Probably the server is overloaded, down or unreachable because of a network problem, outage or a website maintenance is in progress...

Can't Access REDcard - Troubleshooting Instructions

If the site is UP but you cant access the page, try one of the below solutions:

Browser Related Problems

Force a full refresh for the site. This can be achieved by pressing CTRL + F5 keys at the same time on your favourite browser (Firefox, Chrome, Explorer, etc.)

Clear the temporary cache and cookies on your browser to make sure that you have the most recent version of the web page. For instructions choose your browser :

Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - (Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter). For details choose your operating system :

If you can access a website at office or from a 3G network yet it's not working on your computer, it is a good idea to use an alternative DNS service other than your ISPs. OpenDNS or Google Public DNS are both excellent and free public DNS services.

Check our help page for step-by-step instructions on how to change your DNS.

It's cute that the site was down just 5 minutes ago (according to this site) and now you're saying the last time it was down was a week ago and that its up and running now (it's not)

The only way I can get on the site is to say I forgot my password. I can then change it and it lets me on the site. In order to avoid getting the error and not being able to login, I guess I'll change my password every month. What a hassle...this only started for me when I tried to pay last month's bill. I've tried my phone, IE and Chrome and can't get on. I had to call to make my payment.

hi. in reading these comments, I keep seeing the other users talk about being able to speak to someone in customer service. I'm unable to get a human on the line. what # did you call please?

· · Internet Explorer 11.0 on Windows

By the way, I tried different browsers on my computer, cleared the cache and also tried to access through their app, but all this still gave me an error message.

Fab Biz · 22 January 2016 - 13:56
· · Internet Explorer 11.0 on Windows

I have been trying to pay my bill for my Target Visa account for a week now, and I have been unable to log on and always get a message saying "Error: system unavailable". I called customer service to find out what was going on and they always say something different such as: haven't heard of a problem; it will be up in one hour; I cleared your system and it is working now (and it does not work!). Other times, they hang up without picking up.

I will pay my bill at the store and have them switch me back to old-fashioned paper bills to avoid this nonsense and incompetence. I will not pay over the phone since it creates risk giving your bank info over the phone. (I recently had my Wells Fargo card info stolen). Persistent technical problems, past mismanagement of customer data, and some bad customer service (except for two courteous staff) = a turned-off customer! I therefore decided not to reopen my account, and I will also pay my entire bill off within the next month so that Target does not get the any extra interest from me beyond that time frame. Cut-off the gravy for the execs, and then they might listen and improve their technical and customer service processes.

I cannot get the page to come up to log into my account. I tried to clear my cache and all that i tried IE, Firefox and Chrome, I tried several comptuers. I called and they said it's working fine on their end. What is the deal? been getting the error for 2 days now.

Tom Crilly · 13 January 2016 - 16:07
· · Chrome 47.0 on Windows

Target Rep said site does not work with CHROME .Had issue using Chrome, tried new Edge browser, website worked.
Pure stupidity for Target to block Chrome. One of my credit cards got compromised right after I mistakenly used it at Target instead of my Red card. Further indication that webmaster is incompetent and incapable of developing a secure system.

Marisa Minute · 12 January 2016 - 02:54
· · Chrome 47.0 on Windows

Three days later and I'm still getting the message: "ERROR - system is unavailable. Pleae try again later." Finally had to call and pay my bill over the phone to avoid any late fees but it is a real hassle considering I can't view any of my charges or activity. This needs to be resolved ASAP or start sending a statement again and I'll start writing checks. I had no issue last month.

Michelle Stockness · 12 January 2016 - 02:50

When I called Target Redcard, they said they had no other reports of the site being down, and seemed to assume it was my account or my computer. I have not been able to log on for over a week.

To the best of my knowledge, it is not the site itself that is unavailable. For several days now I have attempted to log in to view my account and make a payment. The login page comes up, I enter my info, and the following message appears, "ERROR The system is currently unavailable. Please try again later." This has been going on for at least a week now!

I had the same issues as everyone else. I have been trying to log in for the past 3 days and continue to get an Error message. Called Target Red Card services and was informed that "they" were able to access my account and that there must be something wrong on my end. I was informed that because I closed my account 10 months ago that is why I am unable to log in. I call B.S. Get it together Target.

Shane Owens · 4 January 2016 - 23:35
· · Chrome 47.0 on Windows

Like many people I was having this same issue using a Windows 10 pc. However, I was able to find and identify what my problem is and hope it helps. Apparently with a Windows 10 update at some point my proxy settings were turned on. When visiting the site I would receive an error that I'm unable to access it.

To check your proxy settings follow the following steps

1. Launch Edge
2. Click on the three dots on the right hand side and select "settings"
3. Navigate down to advance settings and select "view advance settings"
4. Under proxy settings click "open proxy settings"
5. On the left hand side select "Proxy"
6. On the right hand side under "Manual Proxy setup" make sure this is set to off.

Once it's set to off try again in both edge and your preferred brower. In my experience this has resolved the issue.

Since I can't make a payment on line I will call to make a payment, sence I don't get paper bills. Therefore I will not pay any late charges. This is your fault. You need to practice better custumer service!!!!!!!!

Who is running the Target Red Card website...Bozo or Nimrod?
Can't make a payment, can't review my balance, can't make purchases on websites using my RedCard...
I have Safari 10.8.6 and it says can't make a secure connection...
Obviously a Target issue from all the preceding comments...

The Rcam.target site is still displaying "This page can't be displayed". I finally had to pay my bill over the telephone, but it's very frustrating to not be able to view balances/purchases made on this card.

Safari Version 6.1.6 - Cannot access the REDcard site. Very frustrated for past 3 days, need to make a payment and Target is not located in our small town. Safari can't open the page because it can't establish a secure connection to the server "rcam.target.com". BOGUS.

Jennifer Lane Lona · 26 December 2015 - 21:58
· · Chrome 21.0 on Mac

This is ridiculous. "The site is down only for you" and yet look at all the other people having the same problem. Doesn't work on mobile either. I won't be paying any late fees because you can't run a website.

Steven Jay Klein · 24 December 2015 - 15:06
· · Safari 6.2.8 on Mac

Using my (somewhat old version of) Safari, I'm unable to load this website. (I tried clearing caches & cookies in Safari, but it didn't help.) My Mac has OS X 10.8.5 (Mountain Lion), which only runs Safari 6.

I noticed that all the other Safari users here are running either Safari 5 or Safari 6.

I just tested on another Mac running Safari 9.0.2, and it works there. It's possible that it works with Safari 7 and Safari 8 as well.

Note that Safari 7 comes with OS X 10.9 (Mavericks), and Safari 8 comes with OS X 10.10 (Yosemite). Safari 9 comes with OS X 10.11 (El Capitan). Fortunately, all these upgrades are free.

I guess it's time to make a backup, and then make the leap to El Cap.

Target Your Redcard payment site has been inaccesible for a few days now. I get this error when trying to login "The system is currently unavailable. Please try again later."
