Pof.com website not working? Is it down right now?

I havent been able to login for 3days some please let us know whats the delay please.

When is someone going to get back to us ?? I have not been able to get into my account for 2 days now !!! WTH

Same thing happened to me. I can't log in to my pof account, says my password is incorrect, I try to reset it and says my email is not in the system and when I go to open a new account it will not solidify my new account.

been trying all day to get into my account but nothing if its them with dealeating intimate encounters it there fault for creating it in first place and should not take it out on customer who use it

Simple reason...POF is deleting profiles that are looking for "Intimate encounters" or have contacted users who were looking for the same thing.
You most likely received an email about this, so they are following up on their promise.

The owner of POF, Markus, is an unscrupulous idiot. He lucked out creating a primitive free dating website at a time when Yahoo Personals and others were fee-based. Before he knew it, he found himself sitting on a goldmine of more users than he could imagine. He is like the village idiot winning the lotto. Since then he's made every mistake alienating people, preaching morality in dating while peddling porn thru advertisement, closing user accounts arbitrarily without as much as an email of warning...cutting off communication between old friends online if age gap over 14 years, with no warning... and instead of punishing him and walking, naive people go "oh well, HIS website, he can do what he wants"--not realizing there's nothing to the site technology-wise or business-wise, and 99.9999999% of the value is the little people who give him credit and keep coming. 2 kids out of college can create a better site in a month, and find VC backing, if 40 million users agreed to migrate.

Its funny that POF is supposed to be a free site yet some of the features we enjoyed as a user are now "PAID MEMBERSHIP" features... And now its saying it doesnt recognize username/password or even recognize email addresses in their database... Makes me wonder if its just us free users or the ones who have a paid membership???

POF has been down all day today !! Is does not even recognize a password reset request. It says that they can't find my email in their database.

It appears that they are banning accounts now and if you were banned once, it checks for cookies on your system. If they are there, it won't let you create a new one. I found another site called www.oceansofpeople.com that is totally free and much better functionality than POF. Try it out and please tell everyone you know about it. Thanks.

I had the POF account for almost 3 years. Suddenly and according to them, my Username and/or Password are not correct. I had to open a new account just to send an email to Markus to know (if possible) what happened to my previous account. When I Search my previous username, it does not even show. It does not exist! I don't like this. I had gotten nice friends on that site. I deserve an explanation for the many jokes I posted there lol

pof hasnt let me on all day. Says that my password is wrong (which i know it isnt), then when i go to change my password it says the email i have provided is not in the system (which also isnt true). I see that is a common problem here, Whats going on?

cant log in -- my info is correct and then nothing -- said user name an password incorrect -- then when i go to reset it said my email is invalid-- This is a good reason never to pay for any website access because of issues like this -- they get paid we get nothing in return

The guy that runs this website is a stupid goof-how arrogant to cancel a volume of memberships for no reason, not get back to the people affected, or even have the decency to inform them -they just can't sign in

Me and a few of my friends are not able to log in.. says username is wrong and when requested to send information and asks for email it then pushes back to say that the email is not in the database...wtf? POF keep sending alerts i cant answer them as everytime i go to the page it keeps coming up a blank page and wont let me in.

I discovered this website when I was trying to go to POF to deactivate my account, which I was very much looking forward to doing. It doesn't get much worse than this. I even upgraded to a pay subscription and got zero results. On other sites my inbox blows up. It's a joke. Go to OkCupid. That's what's up.

Internet Explorer won't even open the site at all for me... It (Microsoft) directed me to do a repair that may help... which I did... and it did nothing. This is really ... odd... but obviously there have been problems for months? .. oh well...

If the site is telling you that your email is not in their database, then thay have deleted your account. They did that to me and would not give me a reason. Just that I violated their terms and conditions. I posted nothing inappropriate and did not send any inappropriate messages. I see pics on there all the time that are in violation of their terms and conditions, yet they are allowed to remain on the site. THey randomly pick and choose who they delete. They also will not let you open a new one once they have deleted you. POF is a scam. I spoke with a former employee who stated that POF places lots of fake profiles on the site to up the number of "pretty people". That's why you hardly ever get responses to email. THe people are not real. This site is probably the worst out there.

Tells me my account has been disabled as well. I sent an email, will see if I get response. If I get response that says I have violated terms and conditions I will be freaking because I too have done nothing wrong. I dont even show cleavage. This is the message I get

You can't sign on because their database is screwed up and they don't seem to know how to fix it. Sorry you got screwed by them Micki. Their total lack of response suggests to me that they really aren't taking this seriously. Have you tried datehookup.com?

i finally got a reply. They say the deleted my account and I will not be allowed to start another one. They claim I volited their terms and conditions, but would not give me specific reason. When you haven't got wifi switched on why is it always coming up 'Server timeout, . Please check your cellular data etc... This always happening can't this be sorted out
