Can't Access NBC - Troubleshooting Instructions

If the site is UP but you cant access the page, try one of the below solutions:

Browser Related Problems

Force a full refresh for the site. This can be achieved by pressing CTRL + F5 keys at the same time on your favourite browser (Firefox, Chrome, Explorer, etc.)

Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - (Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter). For details choose your operating system :

If you can access a website at office or from a 3G network yet it's not working on your computer, it is a good idea to use an alternative DNS service other than your ISPs. OpenDNS or Google Public DNS are both excellent and free public DNS services.

Check our help page for step-by-step instructions on how to change your DNS.

why is your nbc site acting so strange. I try to streaming a tv show then after 15 minutes it just quits. I believe that you are putting way to many ads in the show. its like 5 minutes of commercials every few minutes. its not my computer or internet. when I go to look at a news article it also takes forever for the page to complete. once again you have a pile of ads interfering. you don't have to take my word for it. you should see it for yourself. you are definitely having problems with your site.

I feel better that it is not just me in Anchorage, Alaska who can't see the site. I can see it on my phone though. But I am not going to attempt any fixes to see NBC News on my laptop... They can fix their site and meanwhile, I will be over at CNN checking the news.

I was upset over missing parts of the Olympic closing ceremony. NBC used 'censorship' to hawk their new (supposedly funny) show called "Animal Practice". I watched all of 5 minutes of _that_ and only saw a cat (allegedly) trying to commit suicide and then a 'sex animal' joke about the same cat. Not exactly what I would call 'family entertainment'. Not good to 'make fun' of suicide, nor is 'animal ***' appropriate for a show going to be on during prime time when it is scheduled. NO thanks, NBC. I will not be watching your silly show. You cut away and did not show Ray Davies, Kate Bush, The Who, etc. You leaked the news that the Who were to perform and due to Bob C. acting like a fool, I totally missed the Who. But hey, I really didn't want to stay up until MIDNIGHT to see it. And I will NOT be buying any of your DVD's that show the 'complete coverage' of a certain sport. NBC should be ASHAMED of themselves. London was the first city to host the Olympics a third time and they 'cut out' portions of the BRITISH ceremony?! I pray another network has control of the TV coverage in 2016.
