Natwest website down again. Also looks like payments are also not being made. Do feel sorry for the staff at the front end of the service its no their fault the infrastructure and IT is bad that's down to the ones getting paid huge amounts of money!!!

treated myself to a taxi home from work and asked driver to pull into local petrol station so i could use atm... card wouldnt work... got driver to take me to 2nd atm... still wouldnt work... he tried to take the payment thru his phone... card declined! no cash on me meant one very pissed off taxi driver and one red faced me!!! came home to check online banking thinking id been hacked to find that wont work either!! iv just stumbled across this site and its the only way iv found out whats going on!!!why havent we been notified about a problem!?!? iv had to give this taxi driver my works address so he can come and collect the fair trw so im hoping its all back up and running by morning!! seriously embarrasing!!!

Tried to draw money out of two separate ATM's this evening. Both times it spat my card out and printed a slip reading 'Transaction refused, please keep this slip and consult your branch' Can't pay my Landlord tonight! I am obviously one of thousands of NatWest customers who have been thoroughly embarrassed by a major fault with your systems today.

My debit card has been declined in two shops, online banking is unavailable, it is not possible to withdraw cash from an ATM and your phone lines are full beyond capacity (when are you going to stop ripping your customers off having to dial an 0845 number?)

I receive notifications on my phone of any abnormalities - not surprisingly I have received nothing to advise me there is a problem.

NatWest has left so many people stranded high and dry - this is a total disgrace and I presume that the bank will be making suitable compensation to each and every customer for placing them in such an embarrassing situation?
