Browser Related Problems

Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - (Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter). For details choose your operating system :

Mint.com is NOT available. It probably shows as "Up" because you can access the site, but it is not accepting any logins (tried on three different browsers). As soon as you enter your password it disappears and you receive the message "We're having temporary problems. Trying again a bit later should do the trick." This has been happening since yesterday afternoon.

Getting really fed up now, this is the worst site I have ever come across. Having experienced numerous problems initially, managed to register. Have since received MAC code, have managed to use online service once. Now unable to log in, message advising browser not responding. My browser doesn't appear to be the problem as have access to all of my other on line accounts. Frustration overload!!!!!

Mint login is clearly not working. Tried several different browsers. All of them either hang or get a timeout message. Can't they post something on their home page -- which does seem to be up. Also, to post something in their Community Forum, you need to be logged in -- which is not possible. Does not inspire much confidence in their ability to keep data secure.

And my Android says "Cannot connect to Mint.com right now". This can make me very skeptical about the legitimacy of the system and if I can trust it with my card information...

If I wait forever I can get a page to load. I have temporary connectivity issues listed on 2 of my accounts also, after seing them this morning working fine. I can log onto those accounts separately via their own site. If this becomes a repeated problem, I guess I am going back to my old quickbooks.

It accepts the password but then goes to "Uh oh, we have a problem" - I tried putting in the wrong password and it does not get to this screen, it goes to a "wrong password" screen. I am glad i googled my issue- it was trying to say I did not have an account under my email address when i suspected it was me and I forgot my Password! I tried to change it and it said no account was attached! I though oh man, my info has been deleted!! I realized there could be further issues when i tried to set UP and account and it timed out rather than saying an account already existed with that email 8.31.13 1 pm... trying for about an hour

Successive attempts after that event return a "Session has timed out" screen. Whatever activity I do obtain from the site is very slow. So they're having some issues that are hopefully NOT some sort of attack. I'd like to report my issue to them, but unfortunately you need to be signed on to do this. With luck, their support staff has some feelers out there that allow this feed to tickle them.
