Can't Access AOL Mail - Troubleshooting Instructions

If the site is UP but you cant access the page, try one of the below solutions:

Browser Related Problems

Force a full refresh for the site. This can be achieved by pressing CTRL + F5 keys at the same time on your favourite browser (Firefox, Chrome, Explorer, etc.)

Try alternative urls such as,,,

Clear the temporary cache and cookies on your browser to make sure that you have the most recent version of the web page. For instructions choose your browser :

Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - (Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter). For details choose your operating system :

If you can access a website at office or from a 3G network yet it's not working on your computer, it is a good idea to use an alternative DNS service other than your ISPs. OpenDNS or Google Public DNS are both excellent and free public DNS services.

Check our help page for step-by-step instructions on how to change your DNS.

As soon as I log in, it tells me i'm logged out & to log in again...I was logged in for two seconds! Also, when I CAN get in, it chooses which messages are important for me to read & doesn't let me click on the others... I'll click one, it opens another- very annoying when i'm trying to prioritize my emails. :-/

Able to login to mail but when requesting to view new mail it keeps saying it's loading but eventually I get message "error occured while loading mail-try again". But after repeated tries- still doesn't load. what's up?

I have a CompuServe account (owned by AOL). Since yesterday, April 20, 2016, email attachments won't send. The error "We encountered a technical issue. Please try again."

Of course, trying again yields the same failure/error message so that's no help at all.

Same thing happened last year and it was resolved by AOL in a day or two. Quite inconvenient that it has happened again!

No email for another day. I type in the Verizon info then it tells me that AOL is holding the email. Aol just won't print it out for me. Glad I don't do banking over the internet! This service is terrible. Also, about 4 nights a week Frontier is "having trouble w/ s everal tv channels. I miss CNN ,HNL, QVC and HSN's channels most evenings and then they magically appear after midnight and are on once again until the sun goes down. It is obvious I need to check out another company since Frontier can't deliver. Nancy Hight - Thousand Oaks, California

How i got my Desired Loan Amount from a Reliable Loan Company (

Hello everybody, I am Wilona Walker currently living in Texas U.S.A. I am a widow at the moment with three kids and i was stuck in a financial situation by September 2015 and i needed to refinance and pay my bills and start up a Business. I tried seeking for loans from various loan firms both private and corporate but never with success, and most banks declined my credit. But as God would have it, i was introduced to a man of God by a friend named Morgan Steev and i got a loan sum of $600,000.00 and today am a business owner and my kids are doing well at the moment. So my friend, if you must contact any firm with reference to securing a loan with low interest rate of 2% and better repayment plans and schedule, please contact Mr Herman Cein ( He doesn’t know that am doing this but am so happy now and I decided to let people know more about him, He offers all kinds of loans to both individuals and company and also i want God to bless him more.
