Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - (Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter). For details choose your operating system :

Same problem as many others here with H&R Block website... It keeps reverting back to the login page. Moved to a different browser on a different machine, and I just keep getting 'your session has ended' messages... I need to amend my taxes :/

If it keeps looping on the sign in page, try signing in from a DIFFERENT BROWSER. It resolved my issue - kept looping in Chrome, no problem in Firefox.

Trying to check my Emerald Card account and keeps telling me it cannot access my information. Also, I cannot use my card to make any purchases, places are unable to authorize my card. I got a message on their phone hotline saying to try back in two hours, and I did. And it then said try back in two hours, again.

I looked at what others said and I tried a different browser. This time I made it to my security question and I still was not logged in to the site. My taxes were filed, and I am trying to see why they were rejected. I have never had this issue with H&R Block before and I have been using them for years!!

They appear to be blocking browsers. Try a different computer or browser. They do this because they make more money when you go into their office. My filing went from $51 to $122. I changed browsers and finished.

I'm having the same problem. Wanting to finish my taxes but can't get past the log-in screen. It keeps asking me to sign on over and over. I even changed my password and it still keeps happening.

Edit: Just tried using my Safari browser (same computer) and that worked! Couldn't access it from Firefox for some reason.

Can't log in... keep getting bumped back to the home page or it acts like it's going to log me in, but just says 'saving' forever. No one is answering the phone. Just 'barely' managed to get my extension in before the site stopped working (and only filed an extension, because I can't get into my actual return to finish it). NOT IMPRESSED with their service this year. Will be looking into other options for tax prep next year, for sure!!

Helena Berg, I have filed online with HRBlock for ten years. Every year I run my info on TurboTax too as a comparison... every year HRBlock comes out with more refund. Three of those years TurboTax didn't even ask me to fill out schedules/forms that were required of me as a small business owner (that it should have known I needed based on the questionnaire). That is why.

They are having tech issues with the License Agreement page after logging in, what they told me they was no way for them to resolve the issue and the only way around it was to create an new account, i laughed at them and went to filed my taxes cheaper then what hrblock is charging, they need to have thier act together in tax season, u can't provide customer service like that.

I contacted customer service about the login issue today... they stated that they were aware and that it had been sent to their "Escalated Customer Assistance" department. My response was that it has been a problem for almost a week so it clearly wasn't being escalated enough. I asked for a time frame and they refused to give one. That's when I told them I'd look elsewhere if it wasn't fixed by tonight. I've had problems with the at home software before...but nothing like this. This company works once a year so this is something that should be well foreseen. Unacceptable. Not sure what to do except start from sratch on the IRS website... I ain't using TurboTax, that's for sure!

I was stuck on the licensing agreement page, and went back later to login to all of my information gone. Luckily, I have already filed and paid, but the fact that my information is now lost is scary. Tech support has "escalated" the issue. There have apparently been other issues like this as well. 24-48 hours, I should hear something.

Just called and spoke to HRBlock. I have Time Warner Cable for internet, and TWC has blocked in my area. Can you believe that!?! I was able to log onto the website from my phone. Now I need to load the software onto my work laptop and drive back to work!!!
