Fix DNS Problems

I get the “Network Connection Error” repeatedly when trying to save the user information for an Index scale that went belly up during a weighing. I have posted about this in multiple places with no response from Garmin. This is the 2nd scale I had. The first never worked right and Garmin’s tech support is a joke (and an insult to its customers), wherein they subject you to a one-per-day set of stupid questions via email that have nothing to do with the failure. (“Do you take your socks off before weighing yourself?” Seriously? How could I not know this??)

Yes, I cannot sync. It did sync for my walk earlier in the day but did not sync the step count. I am in Australia but belong to 8 different steps counting groups....when I look at the step counts, and there are a lot of 0 recordings, I think then it is a universal problem.

Can reach sign-on page but get errors when signing in. I have no doubt that there are people at Garmin pulling out all the stops, probably on their day off trying to get this back up asap, but would be great if some sort of communication could be provided to all the customers so they don't waste time trying to troubleshoot the issue at their end - reinstalling apps, clearing browser cache, re-pairing devices etc etc. Good luck finding the glitch Garmin hopefully BAU very soon :D

I've just bought a fenix 3 and managed to set it up on Friday with Garmin connect too, however yesterday I couldn't sync my device to the connect app and today I can't sign in at all to connect. I spent a lot of time researching which device to get and found this was the perfect one for me, however don't want to spend the money on something that doesn't work properly. Is this a common problem with Garmin connect?

Tonight I was unable to sync my vivifit 2 to my iphone 6. I tried multiple times. I then deleted the cookies on Safari, turned wifi off, turned Bluetooth off and then turned wifi on followed by Bluetooth. I shut my phone off. Finally, I deleted the Connect app. When I tried to download Connect, I needed to pair my device. It wouldn't pair. Both the syncing and pairing attempts came back with the same message -- server error.

I have had my Vivofit for a week and it never has gotten past the server error. Best I can tell it is a worthless waste of money. My spouse got a Fitbit the same day and it took just a couple of minutes to have it up and running. Garmin needs to fix this or get out of the business

I solved my problem by deleting my Garmin Connect app on my iPhone 5c and completely reloading. After reloading and pairing, all my data was there. Everything seems to be working properly now. No more Net Work error messages.
