Can't Access Project Free TV - Troubleshooting Instructions

If the site is UP but you cant access the page, try one of the below solutions:

Browser Related Problems

Force a full refresh for the site. This can be achieved by pressing CTRL + F5 keys at the same time on your favourite browser (Firefox, Chrome, Explorer, etc.)

Try alternative urls such as

Clear the temporary cache and cookies on your browser to make sure that you have the most recent version of the web page. For instructions choose your browser :

Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - (Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter). For details choose your operating system :

If you can access a website at office or from a 3G network yet it's not working on your computer, it is a good idea to use an alternative DNS service other than your ISPs. OpenDNS or Google Public DNS are both excellent and free public DNS services.

Check our help page for step-by-step instructions on how to change your DNS.

The website has been blocked by all major providers in the UK. A decent workaround for Google Chrome users - download the HOLA Unblocker extension and switch to the US VPN to get your fix.

Virgin media has now blocked this site by court order for copyright infringement, so all virgin media customers will no longer be able to view this site, i am devastated as this is my go to site for all my programs. But I providers have been threatening for quite some time to block certain tv streaming sites and unfortunately your's is the first to go. Read this and if you are in the UK, we are buggered!!!

I think there's a big crackdown on 'freebies' at the moment, right across the globe, they seem to be able to shut them down faster than they used to - new legislation I suppose? I hope it comes back - the icing on the top of a really crappy day.

chrome keeps loading the page then instantly taking me to a blank page with the icon just a red and white infinity sign and i cant skip back. Gonna try Firefox, see if its just the browser.

Edit: Apparantly it WAS just Chrome causing this issue. Firefox is fine. Anyone having the same problem I'd suggest using firefox :)

Rosie Guajardo · 7 August 2013 - 07:44

Google Chrome is having trouble accessing the network.

This may be because your firewall or antivirus software wrongly thinks Google Chrome is an intruder on your computer and is blocking it from connecting to the Internet. Allow Chrome to access the network in your firewall or antivirus settings. If it is already listed as a program allowed to access the network, try removing it from the list and adding it again.

It's down for me to. I just checked it a few minutes ago, August 5 2013 I wonder if it has anything to do with our internet providers not wanting us to watch anything against DMCA

Chantel Hubbard · 22 July 2013 - 22:18

Just went down yesterday for me. I spent my day off trying to fix my computer... Only to learn in the end my internet provider doesnt like the site so they made it appear that the site is having issues. Bastards. From what I understand this is all in Idaho so if you live in Idaho we need to freak out and make them hear us roar. Oh yea if you want to get out of a internet contract check if you can access this site. If not bam breach of contract, for direct communications anyways. I just signed up with them if they dont get it back for me then I have no reason to stay. Netflix sucks compared to project free tv. I would pay for a site like that but unfortunately everybody has to run around and determine how much money they will exchange before netflix can have this or that. In the end nobody wants to wait an entire year before they can watch what the rest of the world is watching now... Maybe if your old and about to die...

Its down for me tonight (28 April) but was working fine last night. A lot of problems, sometimes lasting days, with Putlocker and Sockshare.

Frank Herbert · 15 February 2013 - 19:43

If a video isn't loading, it's not Project Free TV's fault. They don't host any of the videos, sites like SockShare, Vimeo and movieshare are the actual hosts. Project free TV is just the organizer.
If you want to understand how it all works, check this out:
It is a quick outline of how sites like this work and how to watch free tv links, shows, movies and live sports online.
