Can't Access Drudge Report - Troubleshooting Instructions

If the site is UP but you cant access the page, try one of the below solutions:

Browser Related Problems

Force a full refresh for the site. This can be achieved by pressing CTRL + F5 keys at the same time on your favourite browser (Firefox, Chrome, Explorer, etc.)

Clear the temporary cache and cookies on your browser to make sure that you have the most recent version of the web page. For instructions choose your browser :

Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - (Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter). For details choose your operating system :

If you can access a website at office or from a 3G network yet it's not working on your computer, it is a good idea to use an alternative DNS service other than your ISPs. OpenDNS or Google Public DNS are both excellent and free public DNS services.

Check our help page for step-by-step instructions on how to change your DNS.

Drudge Report loads improperly (last couple of days)... flashes the top headline, then shows only the headlines below, not the banner. Something I need to adjust on my end?

Connie Grade · 31 January 2016 - 00:55
· · Internet Explorer 11.0 on Windows

opens then the headline drops to the bottom of the page??

Mario Benvenuti · 22 January 2016 - 01:27

Opens and then crashes

Douglas McRill · 21 January 2016 - 06:53

I keep getting redirected on my iPhone and the home computer virus scanner keeps warning of web attacks when I go to the drudge page

OldSailor Redondo · 3 January 2016 - 07:39
· · Internet Explorer 11.0 on Windows

Several Links are "go nowhere" links, in that they point back to drudge.com. Notably the WaPo and LA TImes links.

down. 404. redirected on Chrome

Michael Medley · 13 December 2015 - 16:12

· · Safari 600.1.4 on iPad

The last column does not load

Roger Dane · 20 November 2015 - 12:10
· · Firefox 42.0 on Windows

Drudge page formatted improperly. Unless this is some 'new' interface. Just links to various papers, stations, locations, zips... no titles, headlines or photos. 'Typical' drudge page is not present. This is not a hack at the user end, something at their end.

Charlotte Allen · 20 November 2015 - 11:25
· · Firefox 42.0 on Windows

I get the blank page with the little ad, too. Sigh--now I've got to call somebody to debug my computer--also install Adblocker.

No problem accessing site on desktop. From the look of other comments, I am not the only one with this problem and I don't think it is a problem on my machine.

For sometime now Drudge report has been slow and now it will not come up at all. I have suspected that the present administration has something to do with it, as Drudge usually takes a different viewpoint than theirs. The only web page I know where you can't read the stories. Try this... move your mouse over the story and you see the link at the very bottom of your screen. Type the title on your browser to get to the story. Shame on Drudge to be so behind the times like this.
