I went into the Sunshine Service Centre this morning and all their self service computers were down. Every single computer in there had a notice saying 'We are experiencing technical difficulties'.

Shocking service. People were getting very angry as they came in and were told they had to wait in line for 1 customer service lady to help them on her computer. Very clear from the notices they had been bashed and ripped, so they had been there for a few days.

What on earth does this report above mean: "The website is probably down just for you..." I feel rather singled out unnecessarily. LOL I have to do my reporting. I hope it works later. If there was a way to key it in by phone and receive a confirmation email, that would be a sensible back-up.

If the people in parliament had to navigate and wait for this dinosaur era website, it would be changed to something far simpler overnight. If online is so open to fraud, why keep it? Go back to manually showing up at an office in person, with racks of cards for employment and jobs. This is the longest I have known Centrelink Online Services having problems. For days now, I find that I cannot access any function once I reach the Centrelink Online Services via the MyGov Portal. All what happens is that I get logged off. It may have something to do with their recent upgrade to the best of my understanding. Whatever the reason, this continuing saga is causing a lot of frustration for me and, by the looks of it, lots of other Centrelink clients. I am reporting this also to share with others that you are indeed not alone. You just have to leave it in the hands of the programmers. No amount of complaining will help here. I am sure that relevant staff are doing everything they can to get the online services to work properly again.

AFter 3 days I gave up trying and went to Centrelink office where they told me a system upgrade was started last Friday, was supposed to be done by Monday. Major issues all Monday and Tuesday but accessible Wednesday with significant functions not not available. Seems to be just the same today. Zero communication to people trying to use the site - even when I got through after handing on the phobe for 30 minutes - they just did no know what was going on. I'll tolerate even major outage if there is adequate communication

Once again i cannot log onto your billion dollar computer systems.

No, its not just me, its EVERYONE in Australia. So how do i report income today so i will get my payment tomorrow?? I live in a mountainous area and the nearest Centrelink Offfice is a 80km round trip.

So i have two questions

1) Will Centrelink reimburse my travel expenses to travel to your offices?

2) Please define Intermittent. I doubt it means down all the time.

Like Sue Nicol before me, I have been frustrated for the past 6 hours. The Centrelink site kept freezing and then logging me out. I tried talking with the Online Support, but the guy I spoke with seemed capable of resolving exactly Nothing!
I would have given 0 Stars but 1 out of 5 is the least that can be selected. Don't be too complacent Centrelink/My.Gov, this should not be interptetted as a 20℅ score.

There is ABSOLUTELY no point in demanding that information for applications needs to be submitted by a certain deadline date, because you either can't get on the site or stay on the site to complete the forms!!! Thank you to Antonius Tobing for posting a link that bypasses the MyGov portal, I went to this address :
http://www.humanservices.gov.au/customer/enablers/online-services/centrelink-online-account-through-mygov
logged in to my Centrelink account with no problems at all.....finally.

Lesson learned...Report in the morning...That way if I can't get onto Centrelink after 1 hour I then have other options, like going into a Centrelink office... Long wait till Tuesday
