I rang the 0800 number (South Africa) regarding a complaint I had but no help whatsoever so I contacted customer services at head office & advised her of my complaint and told her I'd already spoken to someone in SA. She asked me to hold the line & after about 20 secs another voice asked if they could help, couldn't believe it she had put the call through to South Africa.

Having a really hard time checking out my order and get the dreaded error "Sorry, we're having a few technical difficulties and can't get a response from our systems at the moment. Please try again later". It's been like this for hours now with no sign of getting better and no response from Asda technical help, just ignored emails and unhelpful phone staff. For an online grocery store the size of Asda this is laughable. Epic fail ASDA.

I'm at the checkout stage on George, filled in the fields required and when I press 'Next', it won't let me to proceed, highlighting that I have not entered the DOB correctly. So I checked again and again but there is NO such field to input this. Am I missing something?? There is definitely no box for DOB! Just title, first name, surname and phone number. Aargh! I search for 'cereal', no results found, but underneath customers viewed Kellogg's CEREAL etc. Type in Kellogg's, NO RESULTS but customers viewed 'Kellogg's cornflakes' It's a joke to be honest. Today I tried again to confirm an order. Still get the continuous whirling sign and nothing else. I have emailed the following complaint to ASDA. I hope they do something about their website and home shopping facilities:

Dear Sir/Madam

I am still unable to confirm my ASDA home shopping grocery order after a week and a half of trying. I know that others are experiencing similar problems and writing on the internet about it daily yet all the suggestions I have had from your support team, either over the telephone or by email are treating the problem as if it were due to me, my cards, my browser, my computer or my understanding of how to do online shopping.


I have put into practice all the suggestions given to me by your support team.

The problem is with your website and not with me or any of the people who have experienced similar problems. I have purchased a 15.00 delivery pass but cannot use it or make any purchases online from ASDA.

Please put this website right for me and the many others who are experiencing similar 'blockages' and nonsense told to them on their screens, by emails and by telephone.

I still cannot confirm an order. Got an email from ASDA customer support telling me to do any of three things, quote:

You can try the following:
• Please run ASDA website with Internet explorer 8 or above
• Cookies should be enabled on the computer you're using to access the Website
• Delete browsing history and clear cookies to ensure that the website runs smoothly '

I have done all those things. Even if it were my internet explorer that would still not explain why everything has worked well for about 7 orders, confirmed paid for and delivered without any website problems.

The problems I have been experiencing first arose when the site was experiencing difficulties and was putting notices to say so on the website. I think these website problems have not been put right yet.

I am unable to confirm my order today 03 April 2014. Last Monday I tried to amend an order on numerous occasions throughout the day but could not confirm the order. The website did not allow me to amend my order by kept repeating the message that I should sign out by a certain time or the original order would be delivered. The original order was eventually delivered minus the amended add on items.

I made a telephone call to the helpline but found that it did not help at all. I spent a lot of time trying to do what should have taken just a few minutes which has made me feel quite angry about the website service I have NOT been given. No proper explanation was given on the site or on the telephone.

Now the same thing is happening again. Today i cannot confirm an order. Again i have spent lots of time waiting and not getting through. When i rang the store they were helpful but i was sent on another round which eventually put me through to the same useless number.

every time I try order George clothing for delivery to store, it will only let me have home delivery with a charge. I select the store for collection at then the page sticks and will not let me go to payment stage. Last time this happened I rang Asda Direct and they said they are not allowed to do phone orders any more so had to go through customer complaints, speak to the George Manager and see if she could help, which she couldn't so sorry Asda your website is just rubbish!!!

i cant log out of my account i cant log in to log out either but its saying welcome back darren on the screen like im logged in its not recognising my password either

Asda website has been down all evening. Managed to get through on phone after 30mins and the poor woman on the other end was very understanding but couldn't do anything. We have an order tomorrow which I cant now alter. Perhaps they could give people more time after 11pm when this happens so we can alter orders up until say 3 hours before delivery?

So frustrating. Have wasted 30 mins so far trying to log in and now I can't place my order in time for the delivery slot I need. Wish I hadn't signed up to their three month pass as easier to go to the store (you also get more bargains that way too).

Yep same issues as other people. Really frustrating and can't get through on the phone. Asked for a password reset as thought it was me and now can't get in with either new or old password and its now telling me they don't deliver to my postcode despite doing so for the last five years! Would have been quicker to drive the 20miles there and back to get it.

To all frustrated shoppers... apparently they're 'working on it' and 'escalating the matter' ... If I had a pound for every time I hear that I'd be able to pay for delivery...

Can't Log in, keeps coming up with red error message. Very frustrating as i've already booked my slot earlier in the week and now need to change it!!!
