- I just removed any and all cookies associated with argos (Chrome: Settings/Advanced/Privacy/Content Settings/All Cookies and Site Data) and it's working fine again now

Why have Argos chosen to change their website and make existing customers, like myself, re-register because we do not have 2 digits in our password, just before the Christmas rush? It was so easy before. I tried reserving stock on Monday, added toys to basket, could not reserve because had to re-register. Tried to re-register and the site sent me back to the shopping page. Reserve again... repeat - need to re-register, back to shopping page... reserved again - goods out of stock for collection! Shall be ordering off Amazon. Absolutely frustrated by this! Argos have just lost my Christmas business.

Update: I've just tried to place an order directly with them over the phone, even they can't do it! Apparently they are having a problem with everything right now! In the shops, on the internet, over the phone... that'll be good for business!

Finally gave up with website and went to local store - 15 miles away to find 90% of what I wanted was out of stock!! but the fact that nearly ever my I was able to checkout usually my basket reset when I login and then I am kicked out from the session. very annoying and it is been going for months now

At 1400 UTC on 03NOV2013 the Argos site is now letting me in but site function is different and conditions have changed. Goods reserved must be collected same day. You used to be able to reserve and collect within 2 working days (order SUN, collect MON). You used to able to check stock in nearby stores but can't now.

Argos site has gone from being "offline for improvement" to a page saying "high volume... access limited" for ast half hour (at 0950 UCT).

The Argos site has been playing up for over a week now, I keep getting the link is broken, i'm blocking the cookies, the shopping basket isn't working or log in when i'm already logged in. I've been told by a member of staff that there having the website changed but it should still be working. If you want to order something that's online only you can ring customer service and pay over the phone.
