Can't Access Amazon - Troubleshooting Instructions

If the site is UP but you cant access the page, try one of the below solutions:

Browser Related Problems

Force a full refresh for the site. This can be achieved by pressing CTRL + F5 keys at the same time on your favourite browser (Firefox, Chrome, Explorer, etc.)

Clear the temporary cache and cookies on your browser to make sure that you have the most recent version of the web page. For instructions choose your browser :

Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - (Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter). For details choose your operating system :

If you can access a website at office or from a 3G network yet it's not working on your computer, it is a good idea to use an alternative DNS service other than your ISPs. OpenDNS or Google Public DNS are both excellent and free public DNS services.

Check our help page for step-by-step instructions on how to change your DNS.

I am only able to put things in my cart from my previous orders. ei. buy again. When I go directly to the website to order something new the page freezes, it becomes unresponsive to any command... like add to cart. This has been going on for about a week, maybe longer. I am on a Mac running OS 10.10.5. Safari is my browser and my service provider is Suddenlink. I am not having any problems with other websites.

Same thing for me. I can do a search, but when I click on a product link, I get a blank page. Does this on any browser I use, even after clearing cache and history, and even when I try my mobile device, the Amazon app and from diffrent US ip addresses. WHAT I CAN DO, is to logout of my Amazon account, I can then see product pages and create a cart of items while viewing as a guest, once I have the cart full of all the items I want, I can then click view cart, and sign in, and all my items are there and I can purchase. However, I still cannot click on the product pages to see them once I am logged into my account. Also, I can view my purchase history and click on "buy again" to add to cart.

When I click on the link to Amazon, I get routed to the sign in page. I sign in and get directed to billing verification. I enter my information, save, and am redirected to the sign in page. I should note that I am never really signed in and none of my information is saved. I was able to log in for a few days and reach the actual site and entered my updates account information. The problems seemed fixed, but now I can't even get to the log-in site. I just get an error message that the connection times out. I have cleared my cache and cookies and even uninstalled and reinstalled both Crhome and Firefox. When I do so, the problem is fixed temporarily but comes back after about five minutes of browsing.
