We have tried pinging Cisco WebEx website using our server and the website returned the above results. If webex.com is down for us too there is nothing you can do except waiting. Probably the server is overloaded, down or unreachable because of a network problem, outage or a website maintenance is in progress...

Can't Access Cisco WebEx - Troubleshooting Instructions

If the site is UP but you cant access the page, try one of the below solutions:

Browser Related Problems

Force a full refresh for the site. This can be achieved by pressing CTRL + F5 keys at the same time on your favourite browser (Firefox, Chrome, Explorer, etc.)

Clear the temporary cache and cookies on your browser to make sure that you have the most recent version of the web page. For instructions choose your browser :

Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - (Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter). For details choose your operating system :

If you can access a website at office or from a 3G network yet it's not working on your computer, it is a good idea to use an alternative DNS service other than your ISPs. OpenDNS or Google Public DNS are both excellent and free public DNS services.

Check our help page for step-by-step instructions on how to change your DNS.

My users have complained of service interruptions as well. I spoke with WebEx support and they are aware of, and actively investigating the issue. That's all I could get from them. No ETA on a resolution yet. I'll follow up with them later today.

Have been trying to update my billing with a new card and good God cannot get it to work (keeps saying system down) for all day now. Tech support has tried three different routes and nada. They do not seem to know what to do and said its been referred directly to billing (no kidding guys) and that someone would call me back in 24 hrs. I started laughing. 24 hrs really? Bizarre way to respond. Just connect me to a live billing person and I'll give you the info you need over the phone and you can fix your crazy problem on your own dime!

According to their support, they are experiencing a service interruptions (gee, really) that is affecting the webex.com domain and all sub domains (i.e. us). They have no ETR on the issue, but are working as quickly as they can. Their backups servers are down as well.

Barry M. Wise · 13 February 2014 - 10:38

I guess that once a meeting starts it goes through a different server? I have colleagues on it right now, but they got on BEFORE it went down. When I tried to get on, I couldn't. (And now they are kind of acting like the don't believe me.)

Trey Drier · 13 February 2014 - 10:37

If you have a meeting already started (before it went down), it works. But if you have users not yet logged in... forget it. I can't get into a meeting that is has been underway for 50 minutes. Could it be a "weather" excuse due to storms out East?

Unbelievable. Down for some time now. Webex is really getting much worse. They fix one problem while creating 2 more. I switching. This is unacceptable.

Normally WebEx is so reliable. Right now, WebEx is reporting busy... while the "webex.com" is reachable, the "meetings.webex.com" site is not.
Unfortunately, it dropped the connection in the middle of an Online Client Training Session... still reporting 502 Bad Gateway.
Hopefully, they'll be up and running soon...
