Walmart.com website not working? Is it down right now?

The cart is working now.

Spoke with customer service at Walmart.com @ 12:30 pm est, they stated they are experiencing site issues including cart problems. No estimate on service return.

I'm having the same cart issue. Says its empty every time I add an item. Doesn't matter which browser I use.

Well, I guess I'm glad that I'm not the only one. Cheers to you all for your quick responses.

Every time I proceed to checkout, the cart empties. Tried different browser and different computer and no success.

Is anyone else having an issue with Walmart's cart feature? Every time I go to check out, I get a message saying the "my cart is empty" when it is obviously not. I've tried every browser I can and each time, I receive the same message.

I've tried several times, I can get on any other website except Walmart right now.

I've been trying to checkout all day, keep getting a timeout issue, server- suggests I reload and run into the same problem over and over. Have tried other computers too, same message.

Every time i try to log onto walmart.com it redirects me to walmart.com.br. A Walmart website for Brasil.

all I want to do is buy a VUDU movie and it won't let me because my acct on my tv is linked to walmart.com and it won't let me add another card !!! gggrrrr

The page opens and if I get see anything at all I see this message: We're having temporary difficulties arriving at the destination you requested, but we'd like to offer steps to help you below. I have not been able to get on the site for hours.

Evertime I try to sign in it says "we are having trouble reaching the destination you requested". I really need to use my credit card to refill someone's gift card and its very annoying. I hope they fix it.

Goes to a page that states it cannot go where you were headed and this page appears all the time

hella time getting the main page up.. after about 15 attempts I got the whole main page to load.. now I can't search..so...ya.. I'd say they're having issues.

I already cleared my cache, it appears I get servlet exception errors all over the page.

Page loads extremely slow, then says at the bottom "error on page". I cannot access the search box to locate an item for purchase. Also, it will not find a store in my zip code for me to ship the order to, and I know there is one just a couple of miles from here. (Item not in stock at the store.)

They are getting a make over. My page keeps refreshing and signing me in and out and the page looks totally different. Terrible because I need to access my account right now to do some customer support with a company I bought a product from through them, but they want my actual purchase date and it is not on the receipt that came with the Fedex box.

WALMART took a double payment out of my checking account, I authorized only one now they over drew me !

i am having issues when i enter walmart.com to go to website and its not wanting to load. it tries to load but the page isnt coming up. please help.

the issue may actually be with akamaihd.net. Had problems with FB/Twitter and my daughter said tumblr was also misbehaving tonight. Got the same weird, invalid URL error on fb tonight as I did with walmart and I noticed it seemed like it was hanging up on akamaihd.net... and the certificate for fb came back as valid only for akamaihd.net and not fb.... Don't know if it's a problem with them or if someone is messing with stuff from the outside to screw up sites.

Ok, go to the page where it says, log in and from there it should work. it is the search engine that is messed up I am assuming they were either hacked or their server is too much.

It is only showing bits and pieces of the website. This is because so many people are online shopping for the Holidays sales. I had my shopping cart ready to go I should've just bought every thing damn I wasn't done.

So walmart.com has not been working for me for the past like 4 hours. I was trying anything to get it to work (different browsers, different computers, ipad, etc.), then on a whim I typed in WWW.walmart.com, instead of just of walmart.com and.... IT WORKED! Hope this works for some of you other desperate online shoppers!

I found 2 ip addresses for Walmart by googling it and they both come up, but when I look at domain tools, it says the IP address is 173.222.253.194 and that comes up with Invalid URL. The requested URL "/", is invalid. Reference #9.ef9102cc.1356586360.c4cc229

so I don't know what's going on.. the servers are up, but the DNS info is not resolving correctly...

Maybe the prices will go down when they get it back up? ha ha

The only IP working for Walmart.com is 161.170.248.20 but it is for shanghai, china Beijing. My PC isn't able to reach via .com but via that IP. However my Tablet on the same network is able to access the mobile and Desktop version. I believe it must be getting that IP address. just-dnslookup.com/index.php?vh=walmart.com&c=&s=dns+lookup!

my order didn't work using firefox but it did using internet explorer

I was not able to complete my order using the Google Chrome web browser but I was able to using Internet Explorer. You may want to try that. :)

I really would like to know what is going on. After two days I still can't complete an order.

The customer service number posted below is now saying they are aware of the site being down and are working on it. It also says that they can't place an order for us. How frustrating.

walmart having major issues right now.. im good at finagling around site issues but site is having wide spread issues. departments not working, main page shows site map or fail to reach link error message. product links not reachable. I think they must be making some changes.. wish they would just say so.

I shopped for my video game bundle, went to check out and couldn't. Now I can't even get the item to show up. When I click on something similar, it just shows a cart and tells me I have chosen a popular item and then it just loads, and loads and loads. When I start all over, the Walmart homepage only shows a place to put in my email address and in a roundabout way, I can get to the video game section only to start the whole process all over again. I feel like a dog chasing my tail. ARGH!

Will not even search for items, just keeps showing the loading page.

Can't check out and says having problems with carriers to my address. Have been trying for over an hour and a half! Ugh! So annoying!

Began having problems at checkout during shipping options. Switched browsers, same thing. Now it appears that the entire site is down.

First problem occurred during checkout - said problems with carrier to my address which they have shipped to many times before, then suddenly the main page was not accessible and some default walmart.com corp page is in its place. Same with 3 diff web browsers. Same issue.

I was having the same problem checking out. To fix it I used my phone and after adding each item to my cart i pushed check out. For whatever reason, after i put in my last item, it allowed my order to be processed.

I tried calling and ordering the people at customer service can't do it either and they have no solution.

me either..i googled and googled till i found it... its not on their site, they dont want to be contacted...lol.. then i got rude person who wanted to walk me through check out... well if i could check out i wouldnt have called.. so i hung up and called again :)

Call 800-925-6278 select 2 then 2 then 5 and u will get someone..i couldnt check out all week and they put in my order.. on one instance it wouldnt go to the next page because i had to pick item at store only even it though it gave me the choice at home delivery, next time i tried it was because item was out of stock and site said it was in stock.. tried today and game system wouldnt go through and they ordered it for me.

You can not check out at walmart.com. Problems have been reported by a lot of people. I finally gave up !

I tried all weekend to order a laptop for my son to be picked up in another Walmart in another city, but couldn't get past the checkout routines.. kept telling me to select a shipping method, but I already had. I lost a 25 dollar savings because of it.

I have tried every browser known to man. Load, reload, it does not matter. Can check out on my phone app but do not have the bill me later option. Let's see if Walmart.com customer service actually gets back with me. I doubt it.

I finally closed the Tab, reopened the Cart in a new Tab, and was able to complete my purchase!!!

Same here...I've been trying to "Checkout" for an hour... just keeps spinning!! I've tried to recycle the page, restart the page...nothing helps!!! Obviously, there's an issue here!! I use Chrome for my browser!!

I just downloaded the app for my android and was able to place my order. We have been trying for over six hours online. Thank you for the suggestion!

SHOWING 8 items in my cart, but only goes to "unexpected error" page when I click on it.

I have tried resetting and using mobile app nothing works. I even tried to call 1800 walmart and they were of no help. I have completely wasted my time today trying to shop online.

Finally got mine to go through... you have to place your order through walmart mobile. It let me check right out, but still not letting me on the computer. Hope this helps!!!

Won't let me check out. Gets stuck "updating" or just keeps reloading the cart.

the problem I was having was in the Add Ons in Firefox, Windows media player Plug Ins.was disabled. Walmart is working normally for me now that I enabled it

cant access account, lists, local ad, tracking orders, my cart or anything other than front page and items.

Site is redirecting back to the cart when I place an order: "we're having temporary difficulties..." Order has not gone through and I don't know if my card has been charged.

the website is lagging when i search for anything. ughh this is so annoying. it is not my internet connection because i have really fast internet and other websites are fine. walmart.com is the issue.

Walmart not showing any items in the video game category for sale. I search wii fit and it says they 0 at my store, check another store. Its doesn't list any online. I searched several several other things and it says the same thing.
