Hi cannot log into my Vodafone account. An Oracle error message appears. Customer service is hopeless (six weeks to buy a new phone) fortunately their mobile network is good. They really really should get things sorted. These problems will badly damage their business.

Like Jane C-A below, I can't log into vodafone.co.uk in spite of entering user name and pw and having been sent a verification code. Got onto live chat with a Customer Services Advisor who denied that they have been hacked (I asked), and said "We're upgrading our website for better apps and performance, that's the reason you're not able to login." I asked when I would be able to log in and he said "within 48 hours"!! I don't believe this is a planned upgrade as no upgrade would plan to prevent customers accessing their account for 2-3 days. At least that's my assumption based on them being a multi-national company whose business is digital comms. If they planned this withdrawl of access then they they are less competent than I would like to hope. My guess is that they must be having big problems. Why no advisory on their login page?

Vodafone's website has to be - without doubt - the worst in existence. I have never, ever, experienced a website which is almost perpetually down or if not down, unusable as much as this one!! This message; 'Sorry, we're making a few tweaks. We'll be back soon' is a slap in face everyday greeting card and is not only irritating, but should be a huge embarrassment for the company and their web admins.

If I performed my job even half as badly as their IT dept, I'd be sacked. This is a huge multinational we're talking about - worth billions, not bodgit & scarper. Unlike many of the other behemoths who manage to keep their huge web presences online without issue, it seems that Vodafone cannot and have never bothered to get theirs functioning properly. That would point to either a dereliction of duty of those responsible (or they're just piss poor at their job), or the infrastructure it's built on is piss poor. Either way, it's dire. Just f#!king dire!!

I couldn't the page up on either my tablet, laptop, or phone. Then by accident I turned the the WiFi off my phone and found I could access the site using mobile data. That got me thinking it must be my WiFi router. So I reset the router and hey presto, I can now access the site on all devices. I only ever had trouble with the Vodafone site. All others were fine so I reckon Vodafone must have done something that my router didn't like.

Trying to obtain unlock key for new phone, as agreed by Farnham shop, got a text from Vodafone saying the IMEI number is wrong - it isn't. Now can't get on to website or get phone answer from shop (or anyone else) - in fact phone has been switched off. What a hopeless company - I will be sticking with TalkTalk after all.

Vodafone website down again. In addition to that the My Vodafone App on my iPhone has shown the wrong monthly payment details and when I phone Voda their system does not recognise my 4 digit pin. My account is in a total mess too ( charged me £127.47 last month instead of £31 !) Two months ago they failed to take my direct debit and then threatened to disconnect me for non payment! I paid by debit card and they still threatened me. I called my bank and they advised me that Voda's system had failed to request payments from many other customers too. Despite the fact that it was their fault Voda then tried to charge me a late payment fee! On top of all of that, one Advisor in the overseas call centre actually told me that as I am 70 years old I am too elderly to understand my phone bill!!
Voda is a shambolic and dishonest company and I cannot wait to get away from them. I might be old but I am certainly not prepared to any more crap from Vodafone Uk!

Cannot top up my phone since 2 days!!! The phone number 2345 is useless, they say "we have chanced the messages" and instead of telling me the menu, which button to use to top up etc the line is dead. Nothing since 2 f@cking days!!! By a long way the worst website I have to use. For such a large brand this is very poor. All I want to do is look at my bill, Spend a bit more time improving the reliability of your site rather than making it look good to shift product please. No point trying to pour new customers into the top of your bucket when so many are falling out of the bottom.

Useless! Try changing from private to business a/c. Told to switch to PAYG first. That took month. Now on PAYG and 1) V can't get me onto the a/c and 2) can't top up. Go through whole palava on 2345 only to be looped back to the start.

i changed from vodaphone pay as you go to contract 8 weeks ago and was promised phone and sim next day. after 6 phone calls and them taking out two payments i still havnt recieved the phone. twice they promised me the phone within 3 to 5 working days and after not getting it and phoning them again on what said a call costing 26p when i had finished 5 pounds of credit had gone and i was 1.50 in debt. 3 times they said they would phone me back that evening or at the latest next day but hey ho it was me who had to call them again. well ive cancelled my direct debit so lets see how long it takes them to contact me now. USELESS

Been with vodaphone 3 months now absolute nightmare online service when you can get it is useless monthly bill always wrong they would rob you blind if they could, you need to be very vigilante wish i had never took a contract out with them looks like 2 years of misery never again my advice AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Update: After contacting customer services and being talked through step by step instructions for over 20 minutes on 2 occasions, I still have no service. I have cancelled my contract and returned my device to the store where I was served by the manager from hell with a stinking attitude who had the nerve to tell me the network was down due to vandalisation which was out of her control! She was rude, dismissive of any concerns I had and argumentative.

I've had no email or mobile phone service from Vodafone since 8am today and it seems impossible to SPEAK to a human if I try ringing from the landline (Sky). Did the hard re-boot earlier and still no joy. This is NOT a service!

I have been trying to top up my Vodafone online for two days. I used chat online and they could not solve the problem so they actually rang me back. The girl tried to top up my phone over the landline but failed. After speaking to a supervisor another girl tried another credit card that I have as they said that the first card would not approve payment. Their attempt to top up using my second credit card also failed. I then tried topping up another family Vodafone using the phone itself and the first credit card. This worked, showing that there was no problem with the credit card. I checked with the card provider and they said no attempt by a merchant (Vodafone) had been made which had been refused. The conclusion is that Vodafone never actually tried to get a payment from my card but blamed my card for the problem. They have a very serious problem.
