The travel agents are telling me they cannot access the computer either. It has been like that for months. Its a disgrace. Have they been hacked and are not telling us. We are flying to Lanzarote on 1 Feb 2016 No problem with Ryanair going out including booked seats! Tried to do the same with Thomas Cook for the return flight on 11 Feb (I wanted to book seat numbers for a flight already booked) and unlike the efficient Ryanair the TC experience was an absolute shambles. I rang the helpline and got a message that was recorded in December 2015 which gave advice on Sham el Sheik flights being cancelled. Who the hell is managing communications here? It appears that TC are migrating to a new computer system which will mean even more chaos as they obviously can't cope with it. ABTA should have a look at this as this situation as it is contrary to their rules. TC have shut up shop online for the moment and I have also tried ringing their shops locally with the phone being unanswered. This does not look good.

DISGRACEFUL. They've taken our money for flights to Antigua but we cannot reserve out seats for return flight. Spent circa 20 HOURS or more holding on on telephone and the few times we have actually spoken to anyone they CANNOT book our seats either, their own staff cannot access the reservations. We fly 26th January 2016!!!!!!!

I have been unable to enter API or book seats on the system since I booked my holiday online on 28 Nov 15. I hung on 17 mins on phone to be told computer system not working and to try again in a few days. I tried to phone back at 8am a few days later and there was a 15 min queue. I have emailed but got no reply. I have filled in the form to get a visa application and received nothing. I am totally fed up with this holiday already.
