Fix DNS Problems

My text messaging has not been working close to a week now. I called straight talk 4 times and they keep telling me there is a service Interruption in my area, they tell me to wait 24 hours and the problem would be fixed. Bullshit!!!!! It was three days ago they told me wait 24 hours and still no messaging. They need to credit people who pay good money for service that half of doesn't even work! I also had to reset my phone last week because I kept getting a pop up saying Google play has stopped. I read through some of these posts that other folks had the same issues. So what the hell is really going on here? It's more then just a service interruption in "my area" as I see many of these posts with the same issues are coming from all over the USA. I asked if the Verizon towers were down, and was told it was AT&T? What the hell???? What would AT&T have to do with Straight Talk services? I thought Straight Talk uses Verizon towers. It's all a load of Crap! They take our money, and when you call to complain about a problem, first you get someone who barely speaks English , then they hand you a bunch of bull. I am so furious I could spit!

does anyone know how to fix this? the site said it is down for matience i paid my husbands and my phone bill tonight around 12a.m. his works and mine says that my account is deactivated. I have even tried reprogramming my phone with that reactivation number. I was charged 50.25 and i am going to be very pissed if i wasted my money... they need to get it fixed asap and they also need to credit the people's accounts that have been expierencing this for several days.. How do you expect to have loyal customers if this happens and then refuse to answer the damn phone... MY GOSH! at least post something explaining what is going on. Midnight 10/29 -10/30 my phone stopped allowing me to make or recieve phone calls. I can use the internet, make internet calls, send and recieve text messages. When we report issues, do they go to StraightTalk?? Internet/email/data unuseable unless I am connected to wifi. When I reboot (battery), 3G comes back for less than a minute, then it's out again. This has been going on for 6/7 hours now. Have to wait until 8am to call StraightTalk.

I have went to Walmart two days in a row trying to buy a phonecard for my straight talk phone which is supposed to be shut off today... and 3 times now it won't let them activate the card so they had to give me my money back. They keep saying the whole straight talk system is down it's not on Walmart's side. All I know is they BETTER NOT shut off my service today considering I have been trying to refill my account for two freaking days now! Also when I talked to one of the guy in the electronics dept he told me they have been down for like a week now and they have no idea when it will be back up! I have been using ST for a few years now and never had a problem until now I don't understand wtf is going on with the company if they are doing updates or what but if they have been shut down for a week they have a serious problem...what kind of company goes down for a week or more??? Looks like they need to hire a better tech dept. or buy better servers or something. I just wanna know right away when the service is back up so they don't shut my phone off before I get a new card I CAN'T miss an important call over this.

RUDE customer service. I told her per chat that it had been working earlier in the day now will not even send out texts or calls and that I didn't have another phone to call on. she said if the activation code didn't work I'd have to go out in -15 real and -35 windchill to borrow a phone because she couldn't help me per chat. Straighttalk customer service allowed the girl that used to have my number (Over two months ago) report her phone as stolen and get her number back meaning even though I bought a smart phone directly from them and received the number from them they cancelled my phone halfway through the service date and transferred my number directly to her. Switching to verizon now because I can't even get on their website to make sure shes not using our account on top of everything.

I live in eastern Tennessee and I have not been able to call out or no one has been able to call in it goes to voice mail when they call in have been able to text though but not get onto the internet. I woke up this morning and I do not have internet connection. Is there an internet connection problem?

Very pissed. 2nd time this has happened. Can’t call. Can’t text. Phone says sim card registration failed. I call support. Get all the f#!king way to the music after putting in my phone number. music plays and stops. line goes dead. I am disabled and NEED my cell for when I leave the house. This is the 2nd time this has happened with this phone. The kicker is your automated survey just called my land line asking to rate your service. I need to have you call my land line @xxx xxx xxxx immediately.

Edit: I am going to try calling what straight talk refers to as "SUPPORT" again. Be right back.

I have had my phone for years, and had this problem before. My phone has been activated for f#!king YEARS. Why does your support page say this BS.

Why does my phone display "Emergency Only", "Unregistered SIM", "No Service" and "SIM card registration failed"? When your Straight Talk phone is turned on you may receive this message because your phone has not yet been Activated. Disregard this message. It will disappear once your phone is active.

Cannot make or receive calls, some texts come in, and I can reply sometimes but not always. Error: "No Service" It's been like this three days now at home where there is always service.

12:37am Pacific time January 16th, 2014 - my Straight Talk prepaid cell phone expired at midnight. I go online to renew, and the website- although not technically "down"- displays an error: "Welcome to Straight Talk - Due to the high volume of transactions during this holiday season, our Straight Talk website is currently experiencing delays. We value your business and apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again later."

what exactly is "this holiday season"? we're halfway through January. calling their 877-430-2355 line to refill over the phone gives a similar message. I need a phone that works. ST: you're a multi-million-dollar company. think you could keep your website up and running? have a nice day.

So far today I keep getting mobile network unavailable, all the phones in our house say that right now. WTF, this is our primary phone and we have things to do, Im going to get alot of trouble over this and its not even my fault!

Activated Straight Talk with bring your own phone brought an unlocked phone close to a Galaxy 4 they sent me a sim card for AT&T every thing works except I can not send a pic send out one message to mutable people, I can send one massage to one person at a time. Straight Talk is very hard to try to get them to fix they say the phone is configured right. Hard to get and answer if I buy there phone will all items work on it. Anyone have same problem and fixed it?

Cant make calls today. Service gets Xed out when i try. When others try to call me it rings and rings till it goes to voicemail.

added new card yesterday.. able to make and receive texts and make calls but unable to receive calls
