I was just able to access my Starbucks account and transfer funds from a card I received to my gold card. I hadn't been able to before this when using Safari on my MBP, but when I tried using Firefox, I had no issues at all. Just used the app on my iPhone to verify the transfer amount, and it was updated.

I have been having problems using the iPhone (5) app since about a week ago. I've been trying to order and also enter a new gift card using the iPhone app and it just shows the spinning "circle". Yesterday I deleted the app from my phone and redownloaded it (running version 3.3.3) and now I can't even log on using my iPhone. My account is fine (using the exact same username and password) when accessed from my laptop instead.

The site worked this morning. When I tried to transfer funds between cards it said "Oops something went wrong." When I tried to go back onto website, it wouldn't load on Firefox or Internet Explorer. once you have a card/money transfer that fails, you are forever locked out of accessing, unless your IP address changes. for me the only way I can get to the site is if I use a proxy/vpn service that changes my IP.

Same thing happening to me as others below... ever since I tried to transfer a balance (about 4 or 5 hours ago) I received an "error" message on the site and ever since can't even get to the site (computer screen says "The connection has timed out. The server at is taking too long to respond."). I called customer service at and they said that "things are slow on our end too" they contradicted themselves at one point telling me their site WAS down but then I told them that THIS site says they are, in fact NOT down, they said "I'll document the problem, sorry about that. Is there anything else I can do for you today?" THEY WERE NO HELP AT ALL.

I've followed directions to clean out my cache and even restarted, but nothing will work. Yet this site says that it's functional! I don't get it.
