The last 3 times I used www.starbucks.com it worked fine until I completed 8 to 10 transactions. I transfer funds from 8 to 10 cards to my primary card. Then I get an error message and I can't reconnect to their site until the next day. WHY?

Tried to enter a new card would not accept card information then website went down cannot access starbucks at all. Did recommended clearance of caches but did not fix the problem.

Update (+7 hours) : Site is back up but still cannot enter new cards.

I was entering the information on gift card 2/3 trying to transfer them to my gold card when all of a sudden no part of the site will load for me anymore. Site appears fine on mobile, but I really didnt want to enter 64 digits on my phone, tyvm.

The site worked this morning. When I tried to transfer funds between cards it said "Oops something went wrong." When I tried to go back onto website, it wouldn't load on Firefox or Internet Explorer. I tested using my phone and it seemed to work there but still won't work on computer. Not sure what's going on.

once you have a card/money transfer that fails, you are forever locked out of accessing www.starbucks.com, unless your IP address changes. for me the only way I can get to the site is if I use a proxy/vpn service that changes my IP.

Same thing happening to me as others below... ever since I tried to transfer a balance (about 4 or 5 hours ago) I received an "error" message on the site and ever since can't even get to the site (computer screen says "The connection has timed out. The server at www.starbucks.com is taking too long to respond."). I called customer service at Starbucks.com and they said that "things are slow on our end too" they contradicted themselves at one point telling me their site WAS down but then I told them that THIS site says they are, in fact NOT down, they said "I'll document the problem, sorry about that. Is there anything else I can do for you today?" THEY WERE NO HELP AT ALL.

Had the exact same problem. Was transferring a card balance when the website failed. Totally unable to reconnect. All other websites work just fine. Cleared DNS cache, browser cache, released and renewed IP from ISP...all to no avail. Ideas?

Starbucks.com is currently up. However, it appears to be locking out your entire IP address once you try and log in and process a transaction. I could not load the page from any browser or my phone, but it worked fine on a different network. Definitely an IT problem on their end.

Starbucks down since 4/9. Access gives "No Data Received" error in multiple browsers, different PCs (XP, W7, IE, Chrome). Mobile apps work fine.

As with others, I tried to do a transfer this morning in the rewards program, but then suddenly, the site just stopped working. So then I got on the website via a proxy website, and I was able to transfer without an issue. May have been a temporary IP ban or something, but either way, as what Vinoth said, visit the rewards program via a proxy website until you can access it normally.

When I did a transfer got the same error. Starbucks thinks that the transfer is illegals and blocks/flags your IP. Go to http://www.proxyip.org/ or any other proxy website and from there go to starbucks.com and you are done.

Correct, accessed early this morning, March 23, their system provided an error message the site was having errors. It booted me off and I have not been able to log in or access the site ever since. Time for SB to look into hiring a dedicated new IT department.
