I'm in Santa Ana Ca. Just dropped my daughter off at John Wayne Airport for a flight to San Fransisco, her flight was canceled and they had to reroute her to get her as far up north as they can, and the SouthWest website is down here in Orange County California.

I called since I was having problems online to book using my miles. Agent said rewards site is down, they are working on it but dont know when it will be up. The phone center can't access the site either, so they cannot book for me by phone. Says to keep trying online or call back later to see if it is up.

It looks like the Rapid Rewards program and related systems are down. I can get flight information and so on, but can't see any of the log in items, so need to have a reservation number for check in instead of through the regular way.

This site appears up but login fails for both the website and the apps. It is being reported by multiple people on Facebook. Southwest has not commented. You cannot print boarding passes, checkin, or even view upcoming flights.

Contacted SW - the lady said since I was able to see our boarding passes that we are checked in, just go to ticket counter & they will print out the boarding passes for us. I asked her if I need to tell them anything and she said, "No, they know what the problem is". Sucks because we have a 4:55AM boarding in the morning, ticket counter doesnt even open until 3:30AM and then we have to try to get through Security and get to the gate to make the flight!!

I have been trying to open the Southwest.com website for 3 days and keep getting the following message:

The owner of southwest.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.

I've cleared cookies and did a disk cleanup.
