Yes, I have a major problem with Southwest - their website and lack of customer service. I have not been able to log into my Southwest account for almost a week now. This has been the worst experience ever and their customer service sucks. I have transferred to their "Customer Relations" team @ 214-932-0333 and have spoken to several people at that location over the last few business days. (When you call this number expect to be on hold for at least 30 minutes). I have been told that there is a "glitch" in their website and (currently) they have over 2500 reported customer's that are not able to log into their accounts. There is not a current ETA on when this problem will be resolved because they are still "working on trying to fix" the problem.

I have asked if my personal information on my profile page in their website is safe and secure because I was initially told my account had been compromised. I was assured today that techs say this "glitch" should not compromise my personal information. They offered to book my flights for me since I am unable to access my account and my response to that is... no, I would rather make sure that this "glitch" is corrected and my personal information is safe. I’m not sure that I believe that because I soon as I hung up with this Customer Relations office this morning (I called them from a landline), I received a call on my cell phone (which is on my profile page in their website) from Antigua (268) 762-0045. I have asked the Customer Relations center to at least email or call me with updates so that I do not have wait on hold for 30-45 minutes and re-explain the situation to the next rep all over again. I was told that they are a small office and unable to do that. (Yes, the "customer" relations department is unable to provide "customer service" to its customers). Hopefully, this problem will be resolved soon so I can close my account. I really liked Southwest Airlines up until this issue. I would think that they would what seems to be a major issue more seriously than they have so far. People's personal information could be at risk and their attititude is ... we are working on the problem, no ETA when it will be fixed (maybe by Friday) so just call back then. In the meantime, we will be happy to place a flight reservation for you (not knowing if my member number will remain the same or not). Absolutely Ridiculous.

Although the site is up, but flight status information is not available. It's is a back-end system that's down. If you call the southwest phone number for flight status, it will also report that it's down.

I tried booking a flight yesterday morning and got error message, tried again about an hour later--same response. After four attempts, I gave up. I woke up this morning with 35 confirmations for the same flight. I tried calling southwest this morning and got busy signal. Tried back 20 minutes later and was told it would be between 1-2 hours. After 30 minutes on hold, I called back to get the "call back option". The call back option said over 3 hours wait time. It has been over 3 hours now and I still have not received a call back and I am not happy about 35 confirmation numbers populating my email, charging my credit card, etc. There seems to be a serious problem and Southwest is not handling this very well from what I can tell thus far.

Yesterday trying to use reward points, I got repeated "purchase error" messages and no reservation. No points deducted from my account. Called agent and they said they were having trouble with the Rewards Points data base. However, tried again about 30 minutes ago and received the same error message. Tried once more and I got a different message, namely that I could not make the reservation because I did not have sufficient points!! The ~12, 000 points required for the flight I tried to book had been deducted from my account! And no reservation was made and no email notification. Tried to reach the Rewards Desk and was on hold for 25 minutes and gave up. Tried calling SW's main number and got a busy signal. Sent SW an email and got the auto message that I could expect a response within 5 days! What a screwed up website. Why don't they close it down and refuse reservations until they get this sorted out!
