Seller Central has been down for me as of yesterday. Has anyone experienced recent problems with this? First it redirected me to a sign up page and wouldn't let me log in with an account I already had. Then it wouldn't let me log into my old one even after I canceled the new one. It says I am not a part of the network and the site is down. What's going on? Anyone else out there?

Yesterday I had to reset my password in order to log in to seller account because it kept redirecting me to a new log in screen that didn't accept my log in info. Worked after I changed the password. Today, same thing. After I log in I get a new log in screen, and it doesn't recognize my log in info.

After being on hold for 15 min. a human at Amazon has confirmed that there is a problem on THEIR end and "they are working on it." She said to try logging in every hour to see if it is fixed. OMG people. Why are you all calling them? seriously? are you going to help by calling? are you that important that you feel that you need special attention? When it is fixed it is fixed. calling is not going to help. Think about that annoying customer that calls you every day to ask where their package is. and you tell them everyday what the tracking number is and that it is on its way. there is nothing you can do for the customer. I called Amazon customer support after I couldn't get on for several minutes this morning. They transferred me to seller support. I was told they were aware of the issue and were working on it. He said that their computer system there was also down. What a nightmare! I believe it was a "hacker", but we'll see. Fortunately I had finished shipping all my orders before it went down. Just talked to Amazon. There is a technical issue, not a maintenance issue or as my generic message is stating 'Our website is currently unavailable while we make some improvements to our service'. They told me that improvements and maintenance are done during the night. Amazon said they could not tell me when Amazon will have the issue under control or guarantee that it will be up today. She did say that yes, it will affect our metrics, but that Amazon will reverse that automatically. I wouldn't count on that, so you all may want to monitor your metrics as soon as things get up and running again.

This has never happened in all the years I have been selling on Amazon. As someone below said I find it odd that they allow people to continue to purchase orders that we cannot process. I just hope when it comes back up that the money balance isn't messed with. Go figure today is the day when my money transfers from my Amazon account to my bank account. All the sales leading up to the transfer count and it really sucks not being able to process all the orders before the transfer initiates.

@Leigh Osiensky, We use a third party system (Shipworks) that will download orders from Amazon. Our downloads from Amazon are set to run every ten minutes, so we have at least the most recent orders from Amazon within ten minutes of the crash. If Amazon service is intermittent at least we'll be able to grab the orders when Amazon is up. Shipworks can also be set so that when it pulls the order from Amazon, it will print out automatically on you printer. (We do not do this because of our heavy volume) BTW, Shipworks is not expensive and is based on your shipping volume.

I did get to talk with seller support - through customer support - and they have no real reason. The screen that says they are improving the seller page is pretty much an excuse rather than them just showing the not available sign. My guess is that it could have something to do with the log in problems lately in just getting TO the seller page. I have to do a go-around in my orders simply to log in and then go to seller page. I have opened a case for this but the generic response has done nothing to fix the problem. Maybe buying the Washington Post took all their energy...

Seller Central is down. Marketplace vendors can't process/ship orders this morning.

06/07/2013 Seller Central is up, not it's down... wait it's up again, do one thing... oops it's down again. 10am - 11:27 AM CST

Seller central is down for merchants. I called them and they said they were working on it.
