Fix DNS Problems

Same problem as in feb!! Keeps saying network interference try again later!!! I go into network settings says network setting complete but cannot connect to internet contact service provider!!! I called samsung they said change dns settings to 8, 8, 8, 8 it worked but now I can't watch my American Netflix (I'm in canada) but I even tried putting it back to auto and resetting to to original settings it DOES NOT work only works to the 8, 8, 8, 8!!! So I'm hoping/assuming it's the Samsung server

Eroor_bind_model since yesterday reinstalled smarthub with reset as samsung says.Its connected to my pc no problem i can acces everything but browsing and netflix it says no internet when i do have internet. Servers down or?

It's not just Samsung that does this though. But OMG was I pissed after 3 hours of messing with my blu-Ray and router. But nephew works for the geek Squad and Sony was down for 3 months after it was hacked. He said most of the tv's have the same if not worse downtime. Samsung tries to do it while everyone should be asleep, but can help a fire. I seriously thought if buying a different brand myself until I talked to him today.......hope this helps anyone

Finally came back up here, AFTER I've spent a couple of hours stuffing around with router and TV settings, as well as performing a couple of very inconvenient factory resets. Would have been nice if Samsung had saved me (and many others) the hassle of assuming the issue is at our end by communicating this via their devices or their website, it's not like they're not able to.

I have a fix for the current issue with samsung.com. As your TV needs to contact samsung for your SMART HUB to work you can use SMART DNS Proxy server to allow it to work. If you put this IP 23.21.43.50 as your DNS server it will connect correct. - http://www.smartdnsproxy.com/

My proceedure varies slightly from yours, so I'm adding it here for others who arent familiar with network settings. menu > network > network status > IP Settings > DNS Setting (Change to Enter Manually) > DNS Server (Change to 8.8.8.8)

Erica Brown, that fix also worked for me after being down a few days. I had switched out my router, switched to a wired connection, tried several other configurations and nothing else worked, but the 8.8.8.8 DNS fixed the connectivity for all my apps, Netflix, etc. I wonder why that worked?

They took me through 40 minutes of troubleshooting including resetting the hub before telling me it was a known issue that would be fixed "really very soon". I now get the "internet is not stable" message.

I never had the error bind but it all started for me with being unable to load the apps...

Pretty unacceptable to make your customers wait 24 to 48 hours to resolve this issue. In addition to your messages on the tv advising us to call our service provider when this is a Samsung issue. This error_model_bind occurs way too often for them to not have it figured out and fixed by now.

'ERROR MODEL BIND' is Samsung's way of saying - our server is down and we won't tell you for how long (I tried calling - no answer) but you can keep resetting your network settings anyway because our error codes make it seem like the problem is on the user end.

Samsung's tech phone number reports the Dumb Hub is currently down. I cannot connect to my router at all. I do not see how a service being down prevents me set from connecting to a lan. Not possible! Stay away from Samsung Smart TV's!

Update: Think I found the problem. I believe the last upgrade from Samsung failed and it affected the wireless. I reset it to factory and programmed it and appears to be functioning for now. Time will tell.

i have problems connecting to Samsung apps store on my galaxy S3. it says after few minutes of attempting to connect : "network unavailable". does anyone have same problem ???

Anybody else experiencing connectivity issues with their Samsung Smart TV's? Actually, it started connecting to some of the application early Monday morning, however some applications are still having server connection issues manifesting with errors.

Could not connect to e-net with my Samsung Smart TV (UN55ES7500) entire Sunday. The TV worked perfectly for few weeks. My network connection is fine. Appears that TV has problem reaching internet content.

i have a problem of sond in the software itself. means sound is heard only if speaker is made on. in normal condition while receiving call sound is not heard. it happens frequently. service provider donot responds
