Can't Access Samsung - Troubleshooting Instructions

If the site is UP but you cant access the page, try one of the below solutions:

Browser Related Problems

Force a full refresh for the site. This can be achieved by pressing CTRL + F5 keys at the same time on your favourite browser (Firefox, Chrome, Explorer, etc.)

Clear the temporary cache and cookies on your browser to make sure that you have the most recent version of the web page. For instructions choose your browser :

Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - (Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter). For details choose your operating system :

If you can access a website at office or from a 3G network yet it's not working on your computer, it is a good idea to use an alternative DNS service other than your ISPs. OpenDNS or Google Public DNS are both excellent and free public DNS services.

Check our help page for step-by-step instructions on how to change your DNS.

According to the story that Paul Jude Walsh referenced (thanks Paul) using the DNS address of 151.80.14.237 should only be used as a temporary solution. At this time, It is NOT known who this DNS server belongs to. Hopefully more information will be available.

Just talked to a Samsung tech support. Seems like a update is needed for everyone's TV. You will have to download on your computer a update to your specific TV to a USB drive and follow the instruction. Makes me want to turn on my old Dumont and just adjust the rabbit ears and just enjoy whatever is on.
Below is the link. I haven't done it yet but will probably work. Pass the word.

I finally got tired of waiting for Samsung to fix this problem themselves, so... After 30 hours without SmartTV network applications via SmartHub (e.g. Netflix, YouTube TV, etc), ...I finally fixed this problem myself! Here is what worked for me: Based on Emanuele Crosatti's suggestion below, I went into Menu -> Network Settings, and there I noticed that the "DNS Server" setting was Auto-selected to be the same IP address as my local WiFi Gateway Router. This is not a valid DNS server setting!!!! So the solution is to over-ride the default setting by MANUALLY entering a valid MANUAL DNS Address such as 151.80.14.247. Voila! My Samsung 55" Smart TV now behaves normally for me once again. No thanks to Samsung support :(

Thanks to user KMaru on http://www.myce.com, here is a workaround,

You need a linux box or similar in your home network and dnsmasq.
just type one command:

dnsmasq --address=/www.samsung.com/23.66.247.46

and then just configure in your tv "dns - manual" to linux box ip address.

This solves the issue (wrong dns record for www.samsung.com)
