Can't check in my son seemingly because he was born after 2000, even though he is travelling with me. I have checked in ok and tried firefox and chrome as alternative to explorer to no avail. Naturally the online chat does not work, so I guess Michael is rubbing his hands at the thought I will have to pay to check in at the airport. Such a shit airline, I wish someone else would snatch the routes from O'leary. He has had carte blanche to do what he likes for too long. Complacency and arrogance at its best.

The Ryanair payments engine seems to be down. You go through all of the process of trying to reserve a seat, and then it locks up when you try to pay. Webchat is swamped and the call centre is no better. Serves me right for flying Ryanair (not my choice)!

Hi Alison Woodcraft, apparently it's a browser problem with Windows explorer 11.0. If you have Mozilla Firefox that should work (you can download it from the web if not). In he end I used my iPhone and it worked perfectly. Good luck!

I have been trying to check in online all morning, I can enter my passport details but when I click 'continue' nothing happens. Tried calling customer services, held in a queue for 10 mins and when I finally connected to someone they just hung up. Apalling service.

Keeps timing out when I try to access my booking, I tried repeatedly and eventually called them, waited for 15 mins and then spoke to an absolute charmer (not) who tried to shout over me telling me to use their website. Another customer service fail as far as I'm concerned.

Hi, I was having trouble putting in our document numbers and birthdays into our Ryanair profile on their website. The website kept automatically changing the day of the birthday or the expiration date of the passports. Frustrating! Well, after reading this website suggestions, I went into chrome and cleared the history, cache, and cookies. I went back into Ryanair and fixed my profile information. I logged out and logged back into the website to check on the profile and it seems to have worked! I am so happy! I will check again tomorrow to see if the information for my profile is still correct.

Hello, I don't know if this will help but this is what I did. After several conversations with Ryan air they suggested it was my browser, so I tried other browsers and I did not work. I finally used my partners computer that does not have windows 10 and it let me check in. My partners computer on the Ryan air website suggested that the browser was incomparable and that I could use their old website.

What the hell?! Fly Friday morning .. have been trying for 24 hours to check-in online for 2 people. Repeatedly requests first stage details - date of birth etc - once details are completed, CONTINUE button will not work. Just reverts back to first stage details! Booked and paid for selected seats but now can't seem to check in online. Gets to the select seats bit and says 'already seated' then the continue button doesn't work so I can't get as far as the boarding pass stage. Call centre virtually impossible to get through to, live chat not much better and absolutely useless when you do - clearly disinterested and have no answers, you just go round in a big frustrating circle then get cut off and have to start again. If anyone else has had this problem, or even better found how to resolve it would be interested to hear

I have been trying to change a return flight booking for two days now - but it keeps asking to try again as an error has occurred. Live web chat isn't available, I managed to make a request through the contact form yesterday but have not heard back and now the contact forms aren't working. I've rung the local reservation many times today and yesterday and mostly been told that they're too busy to take calls so I should live web chat instead or the contact forms - neither of which are working! On the two occasions that I have got through, they've referred me back to the website, once having created a separate booking number so I can just change one of the four flights in our booking (which woid have ben helpful had the website subsequently worked) and once to say that shood be using Chrome as opposed to Safari, which has turned out to make no difference whatsoever. I need to make this flight change and am worried that the new flight will sell out and/or the tickets which I can afford will go. I'm not at all happy about this...

I was on the chat line to amend a mistake in my booking and despite starting out as number 26 in the queue with 13 minutes to wait, I ended up nearly an hour later as number 11 with 6 minutes to wait when the screen reverted to "agents not available" and I was left high and dry! I shall try again in the morning.

We tried to check in but could not get the system to work properly. When we eventually got through on the web chat line, we were told that it would only work with the latest version of Chrome. Our PC is 10 years old and works perfectly well, but it was confirmed that we would not be able to check in using our PC ever again! So we would have to buy another computer just to satisfy Ryanair's greed!!!
