Can't Access Orange UK - Troubleshooting Instructions

If the site is UP but you cant access the page, try one of the below solutions:

Browser Related Problems

Force a full refresh for the site. This can be achieved by pressing CTRL + F5 keys at the same time on your favourite browser (Firefox, Chrome, Explorer, etc.)

Clear the temporary cache and cookies on your browser to make sure that you have the most recent version of the web page. For instructions choose your browser :

Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - (Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter). For details choose your operating system :

If you can access a website at office or from a 3G network yet it's not working on your computer, it is a good idea to use an alternative DNS service other than your ISPs. OpenDNS or Google Public DNS are both excellent and free public DNS services.

Check our help page for step-by-step instructions on how to change your DNS.

My Orange/EE was down most of the 19th July. I tried to phone them but that just wasted my time at a cost of 5p per minute, Orange are getting really bad and if it stops working today, I think It's time I moved after more than ten years with them. Wake up Orange.

Charles Henderson · 3 June 2014 - 07:43

Can't get my emails, been like this since 7.20 this morning. EE help is utterly hopeless and massively Big-Brotheresque in that it spits my call out as it doesn't understand that I don't actually have on Orange mobile number. I have had my email address since 1998 when it was Freeserve, eventually this was swallowed up by Orange which is now some faceless monolith no-one's ever heard of called EE. This, as ever, is "progress", we are encouraged to believe. How long EE will lower itself to support fsnet, freeserve etc accounts is a bit of a lottery, we are invited an alternative email address so that they can 'offer an even better service'. Yeah right. Any service woudl be am improvement.. Charles Henderson, Halifax, West Yorkshire

I have everything from Orange/EE - broadband, landline & mobile. Just like thousands of customers all over the UK, I've experienced many intermittent outages on broadband, loss of signal on mobile & lack of access to my account on their website. And I still am. There has to be a serious problem somewhere but why won't the company tell their customers what it is, what's being done about it & when it'll be fixed?

Katrina Staplehurst · 11 May 2014 - 05:25

No Orange broadband since 2pm yesterday (Saturday). Have spoken to Orange so-called-customer-service and was told a load of twaddle. Orange wouldn't admit that there is a problem and claimed it would be up in a couple of hours (which meant approx. midday). Still not working. Exasperated to say the least. I just wish Orange (and other ISPs) would just admit when there is a problem instead of treating their customers like morons!

I cannot access my emails from the website, as it is telling me I am using the wrong password, I have used this password for 7 years! This has now gone on for three days. I have tried IE and Chrome, have cleared browser caches, neither work.

I'm having the same trouble logging into my account page as many others. I've just managed to talk to someone with a limited knowledge of English on one of the 0800 numbers given in another post. His initial reaction was to try to reset my password before I explained that this was not the problem. He checked up and came back to say that they presently have technical issues, and to try again in 24hrs when everything will be fixed - won't hold my breath

I also got conned by the 'switch to EE' con - they tell you that everything is the same as with Orange but faster. They don't tell you that you only get half the data allowance that you had with Orange
