Okcupid.com website not working? Is it down right now?

I cannot logging in for few days, shows internal error and technical difficulties, Messages has been sent to OKCUPID, But I didn't get any feedback yet...

I tried logging and I got nothing, it says internal error and I sent messages to OKCUPID dozen times but to no avail.

Tried several times and still "Sorry, we're having technical difficulties right now. Check back later."

I put my birthday 1995 and its always saying Sorry, you must be 18 or older to use OkCupid or when i put much older like 1988, it doesnt let me in. '-'

I just finished submitting a complaint to the NY BBB (Better Business Bureau) as OkCupid! is based in NY. Even though I haven't heard back from OkCupid! about the complaint I emailed them via their site, I did include information regarding research that I've done and discovered that OkCupid! is deleting people's accounts without cause.

I don't understand what is happening. Just out of nowhere I wasn't able to log in. I had been on for like 5 days. I have a feeling someone hacked me & did some crap. Maybe some idiot didn't like the competetion, so felt he had to delete some profiles, including mine. I don't think it could be anything else, because I would never abuse the site in any way. I had tons of messages, I hadn't replied to everyone yet. I am frustrated & I am thinking of reporting this to a higher entity, because a website can't be running like this. That. or they blocked me because I'm mixed. I am very upset at Okcupid. Oh well. Match.com is much better anyway. If you have been blocked or hacked, . you aren't alone. I feel your frustration.

I made an account yesterday and for some reason none of my messages are sending and no one can see my profile. I messaged two friends and neither of them received the messages and when my friend tried to search for me, nothing came up. I feel like I'm floating around on there and no one can see or hear me. Does anyone know how I could fix this?

I also sent Okcupid a message suggesting that they own up and put an accurate reason as to why people cannot log in rather than using technical issues as a reason.. when in actual fact they have deliberately banned you.

It's an IP block, simply have your ISP change your IP address or use one of the many free proxies available online and you'll be able to access the site again! Tried and works.

Whenever I try and log in, it says they have had technical issues.

Actually, pulling up the webpage is easy. But any attempt to login has failed.

It is bogus, it's not down. yes, for some reason they are blocking people, I haven't figured out the reason why BUT, try this:

I went into my internet settings and cleared out my cookies and any other tracking of any kind, history, cache, everything then I got on to the cupid site and opened another account under a different name and it worked. Now I had tried to open a new account about t 10 times after I kept getting the Internal error message when trying to log on. When I tried to open an account it kept changing the birthdate year and saying I was under 18 and couldn't open an account.

Even though I cleared cookies and everything else and was able to open up a new account, I still could not get into my original account and when I looked for my old profile from my new one, it said I did not exist so that means they totally deleted my account.

i don't believe for a second that site is down... i decided to log back on after a year of not using my account... All of a sudden after a week, it says 'internal error - try again later'... I tried using the wrong log info to see if i got a diff msg. It said, log-in info incorrect so at least the verification process is working. i just hope they aren't deleting people randomly w/sum bogus claim of being down...

My account has been down for days. Can't log in, can't make a new acct. I've tried everything even tryijng to access the site from 3 different computers and nothing. I can't get on the site but a friend of mine who lives in town can. He can get into his account but I can't get into mine. WTF is going on.

I am starting to think that what Taj Burns from june 30, 2012, is true. Something fishy is gong on. I think it has to do with some of the moderators. I guess they've had the last laugh by eliminating whoever they feel like. M effers!

I am having problems logging on to OKCupid too. It keeps saying that there is an 'internal error'. When I try to create a new account, by filling in my year of birth, it keeps saying that I need to be older than 18years old to join... I was born in 1967. At least I now know that I am not the only one having a difficult time logging in to OKC.

.. A lot of people including myself aren't able to log-on to okcupid. however there are far more people who can and are on okcupid. for some this has been going on for months without being able to log-on. And no one has come up with the answer to fix this problem. Now the question is.. is there life after okcupid ? I have finally accepted the fact that my account with okcupid is closed and gone .. (how sad)..

I haven't been able to log-in since Jan 24th 2013 and It's now Jan 28th 2013. I don't get it some people are on some aren't. from what I've read this shit happens quite often.

The PC version is down for me right now. The mobile version works.

I keep getting an error message that they are having technical difficulties. I have not been able to access it since 12/24. I cannot even sign on.

The 'new' owners are clearly trying to kill the site slowly but surely to theoretically drive the user base to payed match sites. Since there is a 0% possibility of that for myself and many others all they are doing is irritating everyone which hopefully will reflect on them and incline people to look elsewhere for a free site.

I am managing to get on OK cupid but then when i go to check a message it keeps chucking me out - explain?

Seems really weird to me. It's been down for two days, can't log in, can't register a new account either, so I doubt I'm blocked or anything, (haven't been on long enough to get into any trouble). I tried messaging the staff yesterday but no reply yet. They sound really unprofessional from what everyone seems to be saying. I tried logging in via my app on my iPhone using 3G instead of Wi-Fi encase my IP was being blocked and still the same thing, seems to be down, but my room mate was able to connect yesterday supposedly, so I don't know what's going on. It's frustrating.

Actually, the site hasn't hired moderators. Some users are able to access flagmod, but they are not paid and cannot control who gets deleted or whatnot. Only those who work for the company can delete people.

My friend has been trying ti log back in(on and off) for over about 5 months now. I took a look myself, She put in the "Retrieve password" and in the email the link to "reset password" just sent her to OKC page that said the link had expired. She has put in many complaints and none of been responded to. The thing about OKC is that it's actually run by regular people who have been hired as Moderators that used to use the site. We found out someone she had denied to meet with had been checking over all her complaints, messages and everything. He kept booting her off the site just before he deleted her profile. You guys this and POF are both run that way now, so it's pointless to even bother wasting time trying to use them. This is actual TRUE. The guy is STILL harassing and hacking her now, all because she wasn't interested. You need to be careful what sites you are on and who you talk too. Don't be nice enough to say no thanks instead of just blocking someone you feel isn't right.

I am trying to send im to a friend, and he to is trying to send im to me, but they are not going through, he text me to say he send ims, and i send him ims, so why are we not reciving them, one day they will go through, and the next they wont, whats the problem
