My Minecraft keeps saying "Cannot connect to minecraft.net" I cant play any servers! What should I do???

If you are logging in with a Mojang account make sure to use your e-mail address as username." - Other times it'll be "Oops! Servers are working too hard. Try again later."

Mine doesn't work either, I thought I got banned; I don't even know if its possible to get banned on minecraft or not.

I can sign on to the Silver Springs Survival server but I only get the credits that keep rolling.

Tried to download minecraft. Had java 1.7, support said that was the problem that I needed Java 1.6, downloaded that & internet explorer shuts down & I get nothing on the screen. Can anyone help?

To get teh status of it all, goto help.mojang.com You cant login on the launcher because the logins servers are down, If you are logged in you cant join servers because the minecraft multiplayer login servers are down

Logged in this morning and updated to the new 1.4.6 now I can't join any of the servers. I believe this is happening because the servers have not updated to the new 1.4.6. Is there anyway to reverse the update? I have tried a couple of things but nothing works.

not sure about normal mine craft, but for tekkit when i try to log in it sais login failed and gives me an option to play offline -_-

It's saying error 503 which usually means maintenance or the server overflowed.

Guys heres an idea Log on online to get the servers to run there paces but dont play yet Or it might just be me it still says its down on here but after it starts to get back into motion then try to use your launchers/tekkit
