Browser Related Problems

Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - (Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter). For details choose your operating system :

I cannot access quickbooks online in my Chrome browser which I always use. I can get to my sign in page and then it redirects to the hompage (https://qbo.intuit.com/app/homepage) but instead of my quickbooks logging in I get a white blank page. I can log in on a different browser, but it drives me crazy as they say it's my computer. I can log into every other site on chrome just not theirs. I wish they would take some accountability instead of making me think I have a virus or something. 2nd phone call back they finally see an issure escalating.

Intuit Merchant services, Online payments, (and other services) are definately down! If you use any of these Quickbooks has not released a formal statement but word is the service should be restored sometime today...sigh!

QB is hoping to have server fixed by the end of the day. They were not compliant with the new credit card company rules and there was a software patch done this morning however they can't ping - blah blah blah - because now their servers are down.

Intuit licensing and update service servers are down and have been more than 24 hours now. We have Quickbooks Enterprise and cannot work because license will not sync and updates will not download. Speaking to tech support after an hour wait time seems like talking with fish. amazing that Intuit does not have a "call home" feature which will allow customers who payed for th esoftware to use it and not rely on online services. Just insane thinking how many customers simply swallow this behaviour from intuit without compansation.

I have been a QB ProAdvisor since 2010 and am still a ProAdvisor now. In light of all of the recent issues I am advising all clients to not purchase any Intuit software (not QB desktop, QB online, any tax packages, NO MORE IINTUIT SOFTWARE PURCHASES PERIOD) and to await my suggestions for a new platform. Intuit/QB will never receive another dime from my company or any of my clients - the forced upgrades paired with horrifically poor customer service and continuous payroll and payment processing service outages is unprofessional and inexcusable. Intuit's inability to stabilize their platforms is costing my company and my clients’ companies money as Intuit's inability to serve their customers reflects poorly on those of us that use their products.

I couldn't get my payroll/Direct deposits to go in. I had 2 transactions (vendor pmt & 1 payroll check). I kept trying. The vendor payment went thru and then I got the error message. I tried again and got the error again, I tried again and then my payroll check went thru. Not sure what the problem is but if you keep trying it may take. Super frustrating!!!

Oops, we've encountered a problem! I've used Quicken for over 10 years and never had to sign up for an Intuit ID. Now it's forcing me to do so, and of course it won't work. If this is how it's going to be, Quicken 2016 will be Quicken LAST for me. 25 minute wait on their "help" line. Horrible.
