We have tried pinging Fitbit website using our server and the website returned the above results. If is down for us too there is nothing you can do except waiting. Probably the server is overloaded, down or unreachable because of a network problem, outage or a website maintenance is in progress...

Browser Related Problems

Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - (Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter). For details choose your operating system :

Just got this Fitbit and all I can say is "What a dissapointment". This thing has so many bugs it should be called "UNFitbit" . I wish I had bought something else. Fitbit posted this in the community help link - We are working to resolve an issue with the Fitbit Dashboard not loading for some users. Clearing cache or hard refreshing your browser (hold Shift + click reload) should resolve this issue.
The shift + reload worked for me ! However I had to repeat it after I closed and reopened google chrome

I have had problems syncing my fitbit since last night at 9:30. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it but that only worked for a few hours. Started around 8:00pm MT 8-Jul-14 but the Fitbit app on my wife's iPhone had no problem syncing with Then I noticed that the Fitbit app on my android was updated on 8-Jul, right around when it stopped working. Had same problem as others. Yesterday uninstalled and reinstalled app to fix. It's back today and I simply went in to phone settings (Android) to clear cache and data for the app. A hassle, yes, especially if you have to do it every day...but it's working now...

FitBit will not sync steps. I can sync water and calorie intake just find, but steps = no.

Update: Now the app is stating that my tracker cannot be found and keeps trying to restart my bluetooth. I have restarted - uninstalled as far as I can (FitBit App came with my phone) and checked for any additional updates.
