Fix DNS Problems

Download Speed averaging .51 Normally around 38.
Upload Speed averaging 7. Normally around 16.
Cox once says I have a bad Modem, but as I explained to the Rep, as I have many times in the past... No, it is a signal problem or issue on the line outside my home. I have 23 pages of past issues.
Wait.... maybe this time it is the modem:) Usually the problem is crews working on system at night and speed is better by morning.
Download Speed less then 1 is ridiculous. Just tested again and it was .36
Tried to use test at Cox Site, but Cox signal is so poor, it wil not even let me log in to my account. Here is the Ookla Test link if you want to see your speed.

Turned TV on Thursday, May 29 and none of the local channels except Cox 7 would come up. It said Temporarily unavailable try later. A few of the upper channels worked, rest same message. Friday I called and instructions said to disconnect, pull plug and reboot. NOW I HAVE nothing. Sunday evening - STILL NO CHANNELS and it is obviously an issue with the feed from Cox, not my two boxes. Gee, and I get to pay for the TV I'm not getting tomorrow. Told there was an outage, then someone said no outage. WTF!!!

Cox needs to get their act together! There are several reasons why this may have occurred: 1) You may have exceeded the allowable sending limit via WebMail. If you have knowingly been sending numerous messages within a short time period, you may be blocked from sending additional messages for a period of three hours, at which time the block will be automatically lifted. 2) The content of your message may be considered spam by our anti-spam systems, and has therefore been blocked. Try sending an empty test message to yourself to see if you can receive it. If you receive it, this would indicate that the blocked message is considered spam. Please visit for more information. 3) There may be a temporary system problem or maintenance which is causing the failure.
