Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

I've been a CC user since at least 2008 and WAS very happy. Recommended people to them and everything. But they keep changing things and "upgrading" but the "upgrades" are awful. The new contact interface is terrible. They tinkered with Event Spot and came close to screwing up an entire event registration for me. .Now, with not being able to access anything this entire day, specifically items I need for a settlement tonight, I"m actually digging around to find out information about their competitors. Just pretty much fed right up!

I have had contact with the folks at Constant Contact. The word is that a power pole at or near their data center was hit by a vehicle and took out power. They are in the process of transferring to their back-up site. No word on transition time.

Constant Contact has frozen up on me in the middle of editing an email. Keeps telling me that there are errors connecting to the server.

So I am still in the Constant Contact system and when trying to access my contacts or library I keep getting the error:
