Capital One--what's in your wallet? It's non-Capital One credit cards that I wouldn't mind transferring my Capital One balances to if they can't get their stuff together. They're a multi-billion dollar banking and finance company that can't seem to keep their website working. All I wan't to do is pay my monthly bill on-line, but it seems Capital One must not want my money bad enough to keep a website running and safe from hackers. I wonder how safe my personal information is from hackers if Capital One can't even keep their website working properly?.

I was having the same problem logging online into my Capital One Credit Card account. I called them first and was told I should switch browsers from IE to FoxFire or Chrome (no luck)...then I found out... I am using Win 8 with IE 11. Put in the Compatibility View settings and it works!. Oh well, the envelope is in the mail anyway.

I know my username and password as it is taken care of by a program to keep me doubly safe. I cannot sign in no matter what I do (except twice today). I answer the questions accurately. I did get in twice tonight then it failed again a bit later. If I'm using wrong info I should not be able to sign in once or twice but not 10 other times. I don't get it. NEVER had this problem. I just hit "login" which then has its own password, and it goes to the site (which it did twice today) and I can do business. It does take me to the wrong places, but I can perhaps figure that out later. I don't like phone calls as it's very tiring and always ends up in a talk marathon I have no patience for. I must get into my account OR we can go back to the paper version of my two accounts, and I won't know how to get payments to you online. This sucks! D. M. Lindsay (6703)

I am working with a class action lawyer out of Louisville, KY. It will only help if more and more people band together on this! Every time I go on this site, I have problems!!! I had problems applying for a card due to my application not being able to be submitted multiple times, so I ended up applying over the phone which I really did not want to do. I finally just got my card in the mail and I went through ALL of the online account setup questions... AND IT WON'T SUBMIT!!! ARRRGH!!! This is not a very welcome feeling Capital One!! Seems that Capitol One bought out HSBC and added there customers to the server, this has caused a major overload to the server. This website seems to be very inaccurate, quite often... but then I assume all they're doing is pinging a single IP attached to a popular website. Anyway, I have confirmed this site's inaccuracy with Capital One, (as if anyone who uses them for their online service didn't know already), in that this site claims the CO website is up when I opened a separate tab & tried the CO address that this site claims it's pinging. The server may be "on", but there is nobody home, lol.

I was sent a mail offer to apply for a personal credit card. I went to and when I put in the promo numbers for this mail special, it always goes to "this tab was recovered from an error..." and makes me start all over again. I have now been trying for 3 days to apply and still experience the same issues. I am not having problems with any other sites so why this one?

I have been trying to get on the Capital one website for 2 days now. I have never had a problem logging on before now. I have tried 3 different browsers and 2 different computers and nothing works. I called 3 times in two days for help and nobody can figure out what is wrong.

Woke up and saw capital one is drafting various amounts randomly from my acct overnight and there is no reference of this online and the mobile version wont pull up. My bank is saying they are sending additional drafts so to call them.

Just spoke to C1 and they were not "aware" of any site issues like login and page loading. I don't believe that they don't know, I think they simply don't want to let customers know whats really going on. CHROME is NOT a compatible browser BUT IE and FireFox have the same exact problem. Seriously frustrated .... :/

Called number on web page... asked for SSN or Debit card number, no way! Talked to someone that hung up before I could explain that the web page goes to when I try to log on. Number on web page is different.

Can't get to capitalone on IE or Chrome. Tried calling Cap One tech support and they kept having me clear IE cache/history and re-booting. Did no good. Still can't get web site to come up. Really Really rotten site.

When I go to the site its just a full screen of java script and html codes. no logos or links. has the same colors as the normal site, just all covered in java and html.

Dont call the number on the website!!! Call the number on the back of your card. I got through in 5 minutes from the number on the back of my card. But was on hold for 34 min before I hung up and noticed the number is NOT the same on the website as it is on my card!!! Suspicious.

the site might be up, but you cannot log in. They are dorks. They put new security criteria (or is it fraud?) to enter your birth date to log in, THEN you get a message that their system "experienced an error"! They IDIOTS know NOTHING about change management!!! and communication!! I'm trying to call tech support... been on hold now 30 min. So again... the home page is up, but their systems are SCREWED UP! LOL

The site still asking for my birthday and I get the error message. I called the number 4 times and no answer it hangs up after about 25 minutes. My bill is due today.. What am I to do. I tried to log in yesterday and the same thing. I better not get a late payment fee for this. I will be closing my account next month this is just awful. I know things happen but at least let the users know what's going on.

If I knew this website had so many issues, I would have thought twice before applying for a credit card with them. They keep asking for a birth date and then error message. And yeah, what happened to the redesign? It's same old design from 1955 that I have been "enjoying..."

CAPITAL ONE... get your junk together! Your timing for a website redesign SUCKS. By the way, the redesign fails. If you can't login, what's the purpose in a spiffy new design? People aren't coming to your site for the cool graphics!
