We have tried pinging Barclaycard website using our server and the website returned the above results. If is down for us too there is nothing you can do except waiting. Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

When I use IE 11 and click on Login or Register, a blank white Java box appears and blue circle in the middle freezes. Works fine with other browsers. After further investigation, debugging and looking into Syantax errors and error 80020101, it seems there maybe an issue with the JavaScript code used for the site itself.

It seemed to work today but froze after I got the confirmation of payment page, so now I don't know if I have paid off my card or not. I shall have to wait to see if the payment comes out of my bank.
This is not good enough.

Barclaycard help desk says system IS down although this site says otherwise. Tried 1:45 ago, tried again just now and they said it would be 2 or 3 hours.

I have been trying to log in now off and on for three days. I can input my username, password and memorable info. Then I get a message saying that they are are unable to process my request and that i should ring their customer service number. Barclaycard is shit and i will pay off the outstanding balance, cancel the card and open up a new credit card account with a reliable credit card company.

A site not responding to PING or ICMP packets does not nessessarrely mean its down (this is also confirmed by the home page loading) the firewall on the server could be set to not reply, most big sites do this to stop hackers testing ports. Any how i think the problem in with a child site which seems to be down!
