Fix DNS Problems

Ancestry site keeps saying my monthly payment is due, but I have paid it. Have tried to email their support centre but when I click on it I get the message that someone maybe trying to hack my account. Can't reach their support centre by phone either. Very worrying.

The site is clearly struggling with demand on its home page, but it's worth trying to visit pages you have before; I was able to look at a record I'd worked on a couple of days ago, and hints started popping up.

As an aside the iPad app seems to have been working normally, which is why I tried to get round the home page blockage

Ancestry is such a rip off. Today it's impossible to add records once again. As for phantom hints, I have 100s but they say they can't remove them without a clean up, how long does that take I wonder? The hints have been there for months with no action. And whoever transcribes the records for ancestry clearly can't read as there are numerous errors.

Very frustrated with for last two weeks. Unable to sync with FTM 2014 for any sizable tree. Intermittent access problems. Today saying "Some tree features are temporarily unavailable. During this time you may not be able to add new information to your tree. Thanks for your patience while we resolve this issue. Go back Retry" but shows no issues. Not good service. Ancestrt twitter seemed to have stopped responding to me - being very polite - but as I work in IT customer service this is *not* good service

I am losing the will to live TRYING to view has virtually stopped, it is so slow.
This ridiculous situation is "not good enough". It is a expensive site and the people on this blog are fed up with a second rate service. What actually IS the problem ? Is it that their servers are just not strong enough to provide a reliable service !! Whatever the cause, we are paying hard earned money and getting a disgraceful service. Who else agrees, that members should get a refund for "at least" 2 weeks, if not more !!

There appears to be a problem with the LIFESTORY algorithm which is irritatingly corrupting locations (Birth, Marriage, Death) with unintended foreign places.

It occurs to me that any future correction of the algorithm will regenerate and overwrite the contents of the LIFESTORY entries - including destroying any work already undertaken by users who may have submitted EDITS to enhance the Lifestories.

I have over 900 duplicate people on my tree. Every time I try to merge a person with his/her duplicate, you crash and have to shut down. Re-booting involves a lengthy synchronization. My free six months end this Thursday. If I cannot get my tree working, there will be little point on paying the subscription due.

I get the feeling that the technicians at Ancestry are 2nd rate at best. For more than 6 months now I have been reporting an issue with hints whereby the number of shaky leaves indicated at the top of the page (about 20 at present) bears no relationship to what is shown in the summary (over 200 right now) at a time when I only have 2 hints in reality. Each time I have called, (about once a month) they manually correct one, and say they are working on it

This morning neither Hints nor FTM l2014 ink working AGAIN - third consecutive day. Do they care at all - I doubt it.

I can open Ancestry but it is still trying to open the Hints list. I've re-opened and run a search - that seems to be working. FTM won't open either - as was the situation yesterday - I fail to see why it should be affected - it is a programme on my own PC. During the attack, Ancestry websites along with the Find A Grave website were clogged with massive amounts of bogus traffic that took the sites down. Really getting fed up with this. Ancestry is not UP in North Yorkshire, still unable to access anything. Come on Ancestry get yourselves sorted out people are paying a great deal of money to use your site, not to just sit staring at a screen saying "unable to access this site" or words to that effect.
