Can't Access Pandora - Troubleshooting Instructions

If the site is UP but you cant access the page, try one of the below solutions:

Browser Related Problems

Force a full refresh for the site. This can be achieved by pressing CTRL + F5 keys at the same time on your favourite browser (Firefox, Chrome, Explorer, etc.)

Clear the temporary cache and cookies on your browser to make sure that you have the most recent version of the web page. For instructions choose your browser :

Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - (Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter). For details choose your operating system :

If you can access a website at office or from a 3G network yet it's not working on your computer, it is a good idea to use an alternative DNS service other than your ISPs. OpenDNS or Google Public DNS are both excellent and free public DNS services.

Check our help page for step-by-step instructions on how to change your DNS.

Pandora hasn't been working for at least 3 weeks for me. I get a list of all my stations and then it tells me it's not responding due to long script. When I press stop script nothing happens and nothing is fixed. First Christmas season I have gone without all my Pandora Christmas stations . . . .

The website loads, it goes to my station, then no music is loaded. It just stays a dark blue rectangle with no album covers or anything. Totally blank. It stopped in the middle of a song, then wouldn't load anymore music when I reloaded the page.

It's the weirdest thing for Pandora. All songs, on all stations, sounds like they're being played in a key lower, by a cover band. It's slower. Makes no sense. Then, last night after removing headphones, no sound, reboot, clear cache, cookies, temp files, whole nine yards, still no solution. Chrome, no sound. IE, no sound. Safari, no sound. I'm getting this message from Pandora: "Pandora is currently unavailable, we'll have the service up and running again as soon as possible.

Thanks for your patience." It's not working on Firefox or Chrome and I'm on Win7.

It says it's up on here, but when I go to the site it tells me that they're having issues and it will be up in a while.

I'm getting:

"It is taking longer than expected to fetch the next song to play. The music should be playing soon. If you get tired of waiting, you can try reloading your browser."

Pandora is definitely down for everyone. Tried over mobile connection and hard-wired business T-1 line. This is the first time I've even seen it down actually, but apparently I'm not the only one considering how many comments there are here!
