We have tried pinging My Yahoo website using our server and the website returned the above results. If my.yahoo.com is down for us too there is nothing you can do except waiting. Probably the server is overloaded, down or unreachable because of a network problem, outage or a website maintenance is in progress...

Can't Access My Yahoo - Troubleshooting Instructions

If the site is UP but you cant access the page, try one of the below solutions:

Browser Related Problems

Force a full refresh for the site. This can be achieved by pressing CTRL + F5 keys at the same time on your favourite browser (Firefox, Chrome, Explorer, etc.)

Try alternative urls such as us.real.my.yahoo.com

Clear the temporary cache and cookies on your browser to make sure that you have the most recent version of the web page. For instructions choose your browser :

Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - (Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter). For details choose your operating system :

If you can access a website at office or from a 3G network yet it's not working on your computer, it is a good idea to use an alternative DNS service other than your ISPs. OpenDNS or Google Public DNS are both excellent and free public DNS services.

Check our help page for step-by-step instructions on how to change your DNS.

I use "To Do" in my My Yahoo web page. Today is suddenly cleared all current data for upcoming events and reverted to old data from a year ago. When I tried to delete the old data from "To Do," and closed the My Yahoo web page, it returned the data that I deleted. When I shut down my computer, the "To Do" data was updated to items three or four months later from the earlier data. Several months ago, I updated my computer to Windows 10 and reverted back to Windows 7 because I hated it. I'm wondering if this problem is a way Microsoft is manipulating my computer to force me to adopt back to Windows 10.

· · Firefox 47.0 on Windows

Been having this problem intermittently for a couple of weeks now, only when trying to access My Yahoo: When I click on the link for My Yahoo in my toolbar, nothing happens. Pasting the address directly into the address bar or trying to access it from History has the same result. And when I can get it to come up, if I leave My Yahoo and then try to use the Back button to return to it, nothing happens and the browser just stays on the current page. And this is happening across multiple computers, so I know it isn't just a problem with the computer I'm using right now.

Happened on two different computers, so it's not a cookies issue. Must be a server issue?

Send me a message when you have an adult fix the site. Otherwise quit sending a message saying everything is fine and it must be onlh me. That shows a kid or stupid person is handling this problem for you. I can't be bothered reading messages sent to me by children fro My Yahoo

Allan Johnson · 5 March 2016 - 17:09

Obviously it isn't my computer. My Yahoo probably made another sloppy enhancement to their system. I'm changing to a more reliable home page and reloading all of my investment portfolio data- a lot of work for me but I need a reliable page that is better tested when adults.
