Can't Access The Co-operative Bank - Troubleshooting Instructions

If the site is UP but you cant access the page, try one of the below solutions:

Browser Related Problems

Force a full refresh for the site. This can be achieved by pressing CTRL + F5 keys at the same time on your favourite browser (Firefox, Chrome, Explorer, etc.)

Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - (Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter). For details choose your operating system :

If you can access a website at office or from a 3G network yet it's not working on your computer, it is a good idea to use an alternative DNS service other than your ISPs. OpenDNS or Google Public DNS are both excellent and free public DNS services.

Check our help page for step-by-step instructions on how to change your DNS.

After 2 lengthy calls to Co-Op, the problem seems to be with people abroad. Currently a small number of us are having access issues. Advised it will be resolved by weekend. In meantime Co-Op emailed me a link to use until it's resolved

Still down. Can't access money and I'm abroad

Why does no-one at the Coop post a message on this site, apprising clients of the situation

Maybe if they hadn't of severed their links with The International Solidarity Movement for charity donations to Palestine, this might not have happened. A LOT of very unhappy customers.

Yes, Mr Morris. I refer to my post yesterday. The website has now been down for two days, with no communication from the Coop. An email sent yesterday to my contact at the Bank remains unanswered: perhaps they have lost all email communication. Who can tell

I'm overseas and the page is down for me right now. Is anyone else experiencing this???

Jack Carter · 25 April 2016 - 01:04

I am an overseas customer, and for me the site is down. This is really tiresome. I think the Bank could have bulk-emailed, all bulk-texted, all their customers to advise what the situation is. In the interests of customer service, one would have expected the Bank to take a pro-active stance in this matter.

Down again, been the entire day. Ridiculous tbh.

Down for me (business account; banking login). Webpage not available. Went down in the middle of looking at transactions and hasn't come back up yet.

Ian Potter · 29 November 2012 - 04:00

Although the homepage is accessible, the 'Banking Login' at is timing out
